Your project is due __________________________________________. Late projects will result in -10 points per day, and none will be accepted after the 3rd late day. Your project is worth 50 points.

Once you choose your meal, snack, or dessert that YOU are making, you will need to document ALL of your work with pictures, title, headings, family survey, recipe, bibliography, and a history of your food item, all displayed on a poster board.

Your project must include the following topics:

Recipe: Detailing every item purchased, how much of each item used, how it is used, and when it is used. A step-by-step instruction on how you made your meal. You will also need to include, at what temperature, and how long your meal is cooked, cooled, or refrigerated.

Survey: Create a survey that is given to each member of your family that will enjoy your meal. Your survey must have a minimum of 5 different questions. Example—1. Did you enjoy this meal? Why or why not? 2. Would you ever make this meal again? Why or why not? …

History: Detailing where your meal, snack, or dessert originated, and if has changed over time. 200 words minimum.

Documentation/Pictures: Photograph yourself at the grocery store buying the items needed, prepping for your meal, cooking your meal, serving your meal, and enjoying your meal. 5 pictures minimum.

Bibliography: You must include a bibliography page on the back of your project. The bibliography must be presented in MLA format. 3 references minimum.

Your poster/project must also have a title, and a heading for each topic (recipe, survey, history, pictures, & bibliography).

All work must be typed or written clearly and legibly (neatness counts)!

None of the meals, snacks, or desserts can be purchased from a box, can (except the frijoles), package, or restaurant.

This is YOUR project. You can ask for assistance, but YOU are to be in charge of your meal, snack, or dessert, and putting it all together on your poster/display board.

Plagiarism will not be tolerated, and will result in an automatic zero!
