Quick Start GuideCareer Training Programs (3-18 month access term) The four action items below will help you become familiar with the tools and resources found at the Online Administration Center. The Online Administration Center is where you will manage your Account, Catalog, Students and access valuable resources. Login to the Online Administration Center: admin. When you are set up as a user we send you an email that contains a link to create your own password. Keep in mind, this link expires in 24 hours. If the link expired or you forgot your password we provide a ‘Forgot Password’ link at the login page. To be set up as a user in the Online Administration Center (OAC), you may reach out to any existing OAC administrators to request to be added. As needed, they can refer to the instructions below to add you. Otherwise, email us to request to be added, providing us with your site code, name, and email address.If you manage multiple ed2go rosters you will have corresponding Online Administration Center for each site. In the upper right hand corner you will see a site toggle. Click to open the drop down menu, then select the roster you wish to manage. If you do not see all of your sites in the drop down, contact partnerhelpdesk@ and we can associate those sites for you.Student EnrollmentDirect your students to your Online Instruction Center to enroll (careertraining.XXX). When a student finds the program they are interested in taking they will click the Enroll Now button. This will take them step by step through the process. Students pay online and enter their credit card information. When they continue, they can review and then place their order.You may also choose to accept offline payment from students, companies, or 3rd party payment providers for student enrollments. When you choose this option, you would collect enrollments fees and process the enrollment on behalf of your student in the Online Administration Center. To enroll a student in this case, you would use the Manage and Enroll Students tool, found at the Students tab.Once the enrollment process is completed, if student-initiated, students will receive an immediate onscreen confirmation as well as an email notification/receipt of their purchase. If you initiated the enrollment, students will receive an enrollment confirmation via email. Within 24-48 hours after processing the enrollment, all students will receive a Welcome Email with detailed course information, course login, instructor contact information, and contact information for their assigned Student Advisor. We will CC the school on each student’s initial welcome email so you can ensure each student has been registered and contacted by us. Ed2go will then ship all course materials directly to the student upon registration, and bill your school for the registration.Students login to their Student Center via the Login link located at career.If you or anyone on your staff would like to receive Enrollment Notifications Login to your Online Administration Center #5 Enrollment Notifications. Here you can add, edit or remove notification recipients.Policies and ProceduresDrops/RefundsPolicy – Once the program curriculum is accessed online or through submission of a material shipment confirmation, refunds cannot be issued. Procedure – If you feel an exception to the above policy is warranted, please email the Partner Helpdesk with a detailed explanation of the issue. Please keep in mind that there are material, facilitator and vendor fees associated with each program that you may be responsible for.TransfersPolicy – Transfers are available on a case-by-case basis. If ed2go needs to bill you for an extension, please email the Partner Helpdesk.BillingWe send monthly statements that will itemize students that paid online or were initiated by you within a given session. Any credits will automatically be calculated and applied towards your monthly Statement. Invoices for Career Training Programs are processed daily for all new enrollments, and sent via email on Tuesdays and Thursdays.? Student RecoursesOnline Instruction Center – The Online Instruction Center (OIC) is where your students will browse the catalog, enroll and access their classroom. The OIC will help your students make an informed purchase decision. We list extensive course details that include overviews, outlines, material and technical requirements, student reviews, and FAQ’s. Students will also view program cost, duration of access, extension availability and cost, as well as details on certification, if applicable.Student Center My Programs – The Student Center is where they will view Previous Courses, Upcoming Courses and access their Active Courses. They can also view and download their time tracking reports if they need to provide proof of attendance.Career Services – Students will find helpful guides and links to web resources to assist them when researching their industry, hunting for a job and applying for a job.Student Support – Students can download the Success Skills for Online LearningFacilitator – Within the Classroom students will have access to their Facilitator via email. They can direct questions about lessons, quizzes, assignments, and other course materials to their instructor. Facilitators will respond within 24 business hours. Students are also sent contact information for their facilitator at the time of enrollment.Student Advisor – Once enrolled, students are assigned an ed2go Student Advisor and provided their direct email and phone number to maintain regular contact. Advisors work 1:1 with students setting educational goals, managing academic progress, providing opportunities through externship programs, and providing personalized assistance in securing employment upon completion of program. ................
