Moore Consulting, LLC, September 2011 – present. Principal consultant and executive facilitator dedicated to strategic planning, organization design, and change management. Nationwide, December 2001 – August 2011: Sr. Director of Organization Effectiveness. Lead effort to build change management consulting capability with HR consultants. Developed best-of-breed change management methodology using best practices research. Created learning strategy and delivered multiple learning programs to increase proficiency of change consulting. Co-authored enterprise change management strategy the Business Transformation Office and negotiated enterprise license with Prosci in 2010. Provided numerous organization assessments and organization design facilitation and consulting services to internal business clients.Sample work and client impact – Designed and facilitated organization design process to align leadership team on a shift in strategy and to redesign the organization to better meet the changing economic and regulatory environment. Work was completed in four working sessions over an eight-week time frame. Process enabled leadership team to participate while running day-to-day operations. Sample client work and impact:Transformed one IT organization from reactive, fire-fighting department to a strategic professional service model. In four months, client went from a work mix of 20% strategic / 80% reactive to 80% strategic / 20% reactive.Led the assessment of large financial institution’s IT strategy and management processes. Project was successful in determining, for the first time, an accurate overall spend for technology across all business units. We developed several recommendations to improve the effectiveness of the nearly $1 billion dollar annual investment – many which where implemented by the incoming CIO.Led effort to document all Enterprise Resource Planning processes. Sold and delivered wide range of management consulting projects; and earned promotions from consultant to senior consultant to manager. Trained in firm’s business process re-engineering methodology. Sample client work and impact: Conducted benchmarking and best practice analysis for an electronic imaging client. Project identified pivotal criteria for qualifying leads that was shared nationwide. Project resulted in improved sales close ratio and higher revenues for the division. Fidelity Investments, 1989: Business analyst for customer financial reporting system.Electronic Data Systems (EDS), 1986 – 1989: First in class to achieve full Systems Engineer certification while working on the company’s largest account. Worked on various components of the Medicaid claims processing and property and casualty systems applying EDS’ systems development life cycle methodology. Developed history conversion program using Assembler instead of COBOL to improve processing time and reduce systems costs.
