EDUCATION AFTER DEGREE

This is where it starts--the beginning of your big future. With each step you take on this exhilarating journey, you shape your tomorrow. And there's no finer place to do that than right here at Concordia University of Edmonton.

Nestled on the riverfront in Alberta's capital city, we offer over 45 majors and minors in the fields of arts, science, and management. We also have two After Degree programs, three master's degrees, as well as several graduate certificates and diplomas. No matter your path, we will work with you to successfully launch your career. This is where you can become an innovative trailblazer and effective leader.

Learning is a lifelong journey. Where will it take you?

Recognized by Alberta Education and the Alberta Teachers' Association, our two-year elementary education program gives you the opportunity to gain the necessary knowledge, skills and attributes for certification as a teacher in Alberta. What could be more rewarding than making a clear, tangible difference in the lives of others? With our After Degree program, you are mentored by faculty, staff, and accomplished teachers in the field. You'll also benefit from field experiences and learn about program planning, teaching strategies, classroom management skills, comprehensive school health, including diverse learners, and how to integrate technology into teaching.

DEGREE OPTIONS

Our Bachelor of Education (After Degree) program offers unique opportunities to help you in your transition to employment as teachers, as well as supporting volunteer time in the classroom following the completion of the degree.
