As an Orthopaedic Practitioner at Sidra you would work side by side with world class Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgeons to deliver safe, effective and evidence based cast and splint treatment to children with complex traumatic and congenital orthopaedic conditions. Providing care and support to patients by performing procedures such as the application, adjustment and removal of casts, splints and braces, including specialist casts such as hip spicas, removable casts, and Ponseti casting. You must be licensed as a Cast Technician, Orthopedic Practitioner or Technologist in your country of origin and have a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience – including a significant paediatric caseload using a range of materials including Plaster of Paris, Fiberglass, Polyester and rubber compounds to fabricate casts that are safe and comfortable.
