SCTA - Comp time is earned at straight time rate. SEIU-Comp time is earned at 1.5 times when worked in addition to an 8 hour day OR in addition to a 40 hour week. Please use decimals rounded to the nearest quarter hour. Comp time is used at
EXAMPLE: Step 1. Get approval to work extra hours. Work one day 7-8am, earn 1 ½ hrs.
Step 2. Get approval to claim earned comp time for specific day. Take off 3:30-5:00 to use 1 ½ hrs.
Step 3. Submit copy of this signed form to Accounting Technician in lieu of Form 12.
