• ENROLLMENT SERVICES

MyUSI serves as a life management tool for employees who need quick and easy access to resources to take care of their health, finances, and work/life balance. This centralized resource center is the online destination where employees can perform a variety of tasks conveniently, aided by personalized information. Its unique combination of plan and health education gives employees a strong foundation to become more savvy consumers of health care and other benefits.

What does MyUSI do for employers?

MyUSI enables HR Departments to streamline functions online, reducing administrative costs by automating many time-consuming tasks – explaining company programs, furnishing

documents, and enrolling individuals in plans. Its robust health education makes it possible for companies to make wellness a priority in the organization. Better communications help employees stay informed and work smarter. In turn, employers can more clearly demonstrate the value of the rewards they give the workforce, which helps them find and keep the talent needed to win in a competitive business world.

MANAGING WHAT’S IN YOUR PORTAL

Resources found in

MyUSI Central

Now that you know a little more about MyUSI, let’s learn how to use it…

Step 1. Log in to MyUSI Central

MyUSI Central is the administrator’s

“gateway” that you enter to interact with MyUSI services and resources.

Step 2. Go to the Control Center

You will have access to this intuitive portal to manage your MyUSI site as well as the FSA and enrollment components (if you have them activated). In MyUSI Central, you will also have access to eTools, which contains communication material you can use to promote MyUSI to employees. eTools will be discussed in more detail in the following section.

Step 3. Enter the

Communications Control Center

The MyUSI System Control Center is an online system where administrators activate product features and add/edit information specific to the company. It offers quick and easy access to launch and manage the components of the MyUSI System using online forms and wizards. Content can be updated in real-time and portals can be built in hours instead of weeks. The Control Center includes:

• Communications Control Center

• News Posting Area

• Enrollment Control Center (if activated)

• Total Access FSA Control Center (if activated)

Resources found in MyUSI Central

MyUSI is built through an Internet interface called the Communications Control Center. A builder steps through a set-up wizard and is prompted through questionnaires to supply information about the programs to be communicated. Since no technical skills are required to work through the wizard, you can be given MyUSI Manager access to implement and/or maintain the knowledge in your portal. Alternatively, your MyUSI implementation team can assist in the initial launch of the information.

Branding Your Portal

[pic]

Your portal represents all that your company offers to employees, and it can represent your brand, too. First, a distinct, memorable domain name will be assigned for your web address (such as acme.). You can add logos, pick images, and set colors to reflect your company’s identity through a tool called Design-it-Yourself. There are up to 15 different modifiable design items. Some of the customizable areas are noted in the above images.

SUPPORT & TRAINING

personalize the site

[pic]

The power of having a personal portal cannot be overestimated. Organizations that use MyUSI report that it has transformed the lives of their HR staff. They no longer devote substantial time to addressing questions and issues that employees can research themselves. In addition, they are saving on the high costs of printing and managing paper. When MyUSI contains personalized information, employees have even more reason to visit repeatedly. There are several ways to personalize:

• Create individual log-ins.

• Add real value statements to show employees the true value of their employment.

• Add online enrollment to help employees through various enrollment events. Employees will

find the plan education and decision assistance they need in MyUSI, and then elect

their benefits – from one portal.

Utilization & Promotion

Benergy Interworks keeps statistical data on all applications and runs utilization reports on demand. In our experience, the usage growth is generally based on how well the product is promoted to end users by employers. Your account manager will be available for advice on utilizing MyUSI and promoting site utilization. They can direct you to wallet cards, posters, and e-mails that can be customized and distributed to employees to keep MyUSI top-of-mind.

Deep Links

An intranet is a great internal portal for some organizations. Many employers have experienced high employee utilization after adding a deep link from their intranet to MyUSI. Put the link in a prominent spot on your intranet for convenience and to keep the MyUSI name in front of employees. The MyUSI Service Center can supply you with the deep link code and once employees click on the link, they will go right into MyUSI.

Make Your Portal a Necessity

Many employers have success by using MyUSI’s Human Resource Center to house documents and information that employees need often, such as time off forms and expense reports, employee directories, and performance management documents. The more reasons employees have to visit, the more they will appreciate this valuable tool for the organization.
