Supports company initiatives regarding human resources and all company objectives.A prime responsibility is to develop an overall employee engagement strategy which enhances recruitment, retention, employee morale, and productivity.Leads and manages all employees of the department and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within that department.Develops and implements HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall Company strategy.Develops, recommends and implements personnel policies and procedures.Prepares and maintains Company handbook on policies and procedures.Develops, implements, oversees, and maintains the employee development program, including but not limited to job descriptions, compensation, training, performance management, performance evaluations, and career path initiatives. Responsible for current items related to employment law and makes necessary recommendations and changes to stay current and be the leading edge employer of the area.Assists with fostering a shared Vision, Mission, and Core Values for the Vantage Team, which includes all Companies under the Vantage Team umbrella.Manages the recruitment/retention efforts of the human resource team for exempt, nonexempt, and temporary workers. This includes working with departmental leaders to write postings, screen and interview, conduct reference checks and drug tests, extend job offers, administer new hire orientation and onboarding program, monitor employee relation counseling, conduct independent investigations, and perform exit interviewsEvaluates reports, decisions and results of department initiatives in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed. Manages employee safety initiatives.Oversees all employee benefit programs including reporting, claims, problem resolution, evaluation/re-evaluation of policies, approving invoices, and recommendations of changes or new programs that align with the Company Mission and Vision. Directs activities of HR Staff.Other duties as required.Other FactorsThis is a FLSA Exempt position.
