That means on draft day each team will pay $24.00. 3) PRIZES: See attachment for breakdown of PRIZES.ALL PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED AT THE SUPER BOWL PARTY AND IF ANY MONEY IS LEFT OVER IT WILL BE DIVIDED EQUALLY AMOUNG THE TEAM OWNERS.4) ROSTERS:Each team will consist of the following: (3) Quarterback Teams (4) Running Backs (4) Wide Receivers (2) Tight Ends (2) Kicking Teams (8) Defensive Players (3) Return Teams (9) Other players of any position EXCEPT QB, K, RT (35) TOTAL PLAYERS ON A ROSTER Rosters will be frozen after week 14 games. Unused IR moves will be lost. 5) DRAFTS: The main draft for every season will be held before the NFL regular season begins. The draft order will be decided by the previous season’s final standings. The Super Bowl Champ will draft last and the Super Bowl Loser will draft in the position immediately prior to that. The remaining teams will draft according to the previous season’s standings with the worst W-L-T- PCT drafting first and so forth. You should be present to draft. If you cannot be present, you can send a qualified proxy or a sealed round by round list. Teams will also be allowed to draft by phone. If not, you will wait until the next draft to make any picks. A “qualified proxy “shall be someone over the age of 18; have the understanding of the game of football; is capable of reading your draft picks without outside help. A proxy shall not have any voting rights unless your vote is in writing and in a sealed envelope.During the draft, each team owner will be limited to a three (3) minute time limit to make their pick or they will have the Jeopardy Theme Song hummed by all members that are present until they make their pick. Also, trades will be allowed during the draft. At the end of the regular draft, IR REPLACEMENTS can be made. If you drafted an injured player, you cannot replace him until the following week. If you drafted a player on the IR for the season he cannot be replaced. At the completion of the 5th and 10th weeks, there will be supplemental drafts so team owners will be able to make roster changes. All the above mentioned rules will apply with the exception that the current standings will determine the draft order for all the teams.ALL IR REPLACEMENTS will go back to free agent status prior to the draft. If any owner’s IRREPLACEMENT is not drafted during the draft, he goes back to the owner and is still considered the save move. If an owners IR REPLACEMENT is drafted, then picking another player is still a continued move. However, if an owner replaces an IR REPLACEMENT player, then this is considered an additional move.6) LINE-UPS: A final weekly line-up must be submitted to the Statistician, no later than, ONE MINUTE before Sunday games. IF THERE ARE ANY GAMES BEING PLAYED THURSDAY, FRIDAY, SATURDAY, those players MUST be called into the Statistician ONE MINUTE before kick-off of those games prior to Sunday games. You will be able to change Monday night players by 8 PM Monday. Your line-up will consist of 1-QB, 2-RB, 1-TE, 2-WR, 1-K, 5-DP & 1-RT. If a team has all QB, K, RT teams on a bye, he be allowed to add a free agent team for that week. One DP will be considered your wild card player and the wild card player must be identified. If not identified by the owner the first DP listed in either voice mail or e-mail will be named as the wild card player. NOTE: THE STATISTICIAN WILL NOT CALL ANY TEAM OWNER FOR A LINE-UP. IF YOU FAIL TO SUBMIT A LINE-UP ON TIME, THE PREVIOUS WEEKS LINE-UP WILL BE USED REGARDLESS OF PLAYER STATUS. IF A PLAYER HAS ALREADY PLAYED THEIR GAME (THURSDAY GAME) THE PLAYER WILL NOT RECEIVE ANY POINTS, BUT IT WILL STILL COUNT AS A TIME PLAYED BY THE PLAYER. IF YOUR DUES ARE NOT UP-TO-DATE YOU WILL FORFEIT YOUR GAME. Also, see the “Game Tie Breaking Rule”.7) SEASON: We will play a 14 game regular season. Week 15 will be our playoffs and Week 16 will be our Super Bowl and Toilet Bowl. Week 17 will be played with an open roster with the top 4 scores winning prize money.8) INJURIES, CUTS, DROPS, SUSPENDED, WAIVERED, TRADED PLAYERS:If anything happens to a line-up player during a game, you cannot replace him. If a player goes on the IR (or listed as OUT), at any time during the year you can pick a Replacement Player of the same position to replace him. To create fair competition, all replacement players will be assigned on Wednesday, after 4 PM. If multiple teams have an interest in the same player the replacement player will be awarded to the team with the worst W-L-T-PCT, not by who submitted the replacement request first. After the Wednesday deadline all replacement players will be awarded on a first come first serve basis. Replacement bids for the week can be made until 12 am Saturday. Any selections made after that will be for the following week games. Once he comes off the IR your replacement player will automatically go back to free agent status. If you lose a player for any other reason, you must wait until the next draft to make a change. Each team will be limited to one (1) IR move for the season. All replacement players will go back to free agent status at the start of every draft.NOTE: See article “5” DRAFTS for additional ruling. A player listed as OUT will be considered one (1) IR move.9) ELIGIBILITY: Roster player must be activated at least 2 TIMES during the regular season to be eligible for the play-offs. No player can be activated more than 10 TIMES during the regular season. The games played will always stay with the slot that a player is in. Example: If you drop a defensive player who is in slot #26 and you pick a running back, first the running back goes into slot #26. He will pick up any games played in that slot and then the running back is arranged in order with the other running backs. IF YOU ACTIVATE A PLAYER THAT DOES NOT MEET THIS RULE, YOU WILL FORFEIT THOSE POINTS. THIS IS YOUR JOB, NOT THE STATISTICIANS. 10) MULTI-POSITION PLAYERS: 1- Only one (1) FFL team can draft the player.2- The team owner must decide what position the player will be used at. Offense/Defense can be changed at the drafts and will be considered a move. 3- The player cannot be used for multi-positions.4- The player will receive points only for the position drafted for. Example: If a player plays both sides of the line, such as Dion Sanders. He will collect only points for the position he was drafted for, not both. As with Kordell Stewart, if he is a QB then he will only collect rushing stats, but not WR stats. If the is a RB or WR, he will not collect QB stats.11) SCORING POINTS: Only activated players will score points. Only the player that crosses the goal line in a lateral or similar situation will be credited the points. The Flea Flicker play is not included in this case. On an interception or a fumble for a TD, the actual player that crosses the goal line will get the points, NOT THE RETURN TEAM. THE RETURN TEAM SCORES ONLY IN A RETURN SITUATION: i.e. (kick-offs, punts, blocked kicks, missed field goals, etc.) Tackles: Tackles will be counted from the defensive stats, Special teams and the miscellaneous stats. NOTE: The owners involved in the game and the Statistician should score each game. One (1) owner from each game will call in the final score to verify if it is accurate. If there is a difference, the Commish will audit the game and/or appoint a neutral party to verity the score.12) OWNERSHIP: An owner of a team in the “M.V.F.F.L.” must be 21 yr. old or over. No owner can own and/or co-own more than one (1) team, either openly or secretly. If an owner drops out of the league, his team and funds of any type become the property of the league. If there is any equity in the team, the exiting team will be paid that amount when a new owner enters the league and pays the equity fee. New owners will be voted on by the league with a majority rule before they enter. 13) TRADES:1- Trades will be allowed only at league drafts, meetings, parties, and sanctioned events.2- A time period will be set aside for trading.3- Any trade proposed during the draft will stop the clock.14) SCHEDULES: 1- Each team plays 14 games, (each league team 2 times.)15) OFFICIAL STATS: (game book) will be the official web site for compiling game stats. There will be a (7) SEVEN-DAY STATUE OF LIMITATIONS on any score that may be thought to be incorrect. In regards to an IR player, the player “MUST” be listed on the official web site stated above before he can be replaced. Seeing a player get injured or killed in a game, reading that he is hurt, or watching ESPN that he is hurt and out and will not play, WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED AN IR STATUS.16) PLAY-OFFS: The four (4) best W-L-T-PCT. teams at the end of the regular season will advance to the play-offs. 1st vs 4th, 2nd vs 3rd the two winners will advance to the SUPER BOWL.The four (4) teams that do not make the play-offs will play for the Toilet Bowl using the same play-off format as above. ( the Toilet Bowl teams can use an open roster.)5th vs 8th, 6th vs 7th the two winners will advance to the TOILET BOWL.17) TIE BREAKING RULES: FOR A GAME:To attempt to eliminate tie games, a tie breaker player will be utilized. This player will be your second kicker. In the event, he is on a “bye”, a free agent kicker will be picked for that game only. If both teams have their second kicker on a “bye”, the team with the lowest W-L-T- PCT. will pick first. The second kicker with the most points will receive an additional 3 PTS to break the tie. If both second kickers are tied, then the game ends in a tie. FOR PLAY-OFFS & DRAFT POSITIONS:1- Best W-L-T-PCT., head to head among the tied teams. This assumes all tied teams have played each other the same number of games.2- If there is not a situation where tied teams have the same total games played against each other, then most total points scored for the season (for Draft Order only) will be the tiebreaker.3- Most total points scored for the season.4- Most total points scored by the QB for the season.5- Coin toss.18) TECHNICALITY RULE: To avoid any problems, the Commish will have the final say in regards to technical interpretation of these rules. To avoid the technicality problem of the Commish’s technical interpretation, the Commish will always be technically correct for that issue then, if necessary; the issue will be voted upon for an amendment but only after the original technicality is cleared. If anyone is confused with this rule, then just listen for the Commish’s ruling. 19) AMENDMENTS: All amendments to these rules will be voted on by the league with the majority ruling. A quorum of 75% (6 owners) of the league is needed to vote on any proposed amendments. ................
