Philip was traveling a desert road when he saw an Ethiopian eunuch which means important official, coming back from worshiping in Jerusalem. He was riding in his chariot reading the book of Isaiah. A spirit told Philip to stay near the chariot. Philip asked the Ethiopian if he understood what he was reading. The Ethiopian did not, but invited Philip to come with him in the chariot to explain. Philip began explaining what he was reading was about Jesus. The Ethiopian started to believing in Jesus. He saw a body of water and wanted to be baptized. After he was baptized Philip disappears and the Ethiopian didn’t see him again.
