II OLD BUSINESS

A. Website: Bob Springer reported on Brian Hodges’ e-mail on his research. Brian suggested we use Rainbow Portal for the site Content Management System (CMS). It is very functional, easy to use, and free. He also recommends we use Interland for our hosting provider. Interland has a shared business hosting plan that costs roughly $20 per month plus a $30 setup fee. There is a slight discount for prepaying a year or two ahead. Brian says he is getting carpal tunnel symptoms, so is trying to minimize his typing. Secretary’s note: Gwen Robertson has reported that Brian has seen a therapist and gotten advice on better mechanics for his keyboard, and some therapy, and his symptoms are better. Darlene moved that we follow Brian’s suggestions for a three month trial period and have Brian report back at the September 19 PNTF Annual Meeting. Seconded by Doug and passed unanimously. This authorizes Gwen to make the necessary payments.
