?I am an Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Special Education. ?My research primarily focuses on culturally responsive literacy interventions to support first and second language literacy development in ELs with high incidence disabilities. ?I am co-chair of the Illinois State Board of Education's joint subcommittee on Bilingual Special Education.
