Instructions for Taking Incident Command System (ICS) Courses 100 and 700Go to: the bottom of the page, you will find a list of ICS Courses. You are required to take ICS 100: Introduction to the Incident Command System and ICS 700: National Incident Management System: An Introduction.Click on the Course title you wish to take first.On the right-hand menu, choose “Interactive Web Based Course”. Go through the course and take notes as you go. There are also classroom materials available for download in the right-hand menu under “Download Classroom Materials”.When you finish the course, find the box in the right-hand menu that says “Take Final Exam”. First obtain a FEMA Student Identification Number (SID) by clicking the link that says “register for one here” and following the instructions on the external website you are taken to.Once you have obtained a FEMA SID, return to the Course webpage and, in the right-hand menu, choose the link that reads “Take Final Exam Online”. Fill in your answers online.When you have finished the Course, you will get an email that you have completed the Course and an attachment with a certificate.
