Fifth Grade Objectives not yet addressedReading**5th grade has covered all reading objectives and standards as our reading units spiral. Students participated in multiple fiction and nonfiction units throughout the year. No?new?concepts need to be covered.Writing**5th grade has covered all writing objectives and standards. Students participated in nonfiction, poetry, and narrative writing units. Students researched and shared opinions in our literary essay unit and were planning to complete another opinion unit: argument essays based on free choice topics. However, no?new?concepts to be introduced, just reinforced below.?W.5.1 Write opinion pieces on topics or texts, supporting a point of view with reasons and information.?a.
