Summary

Ironside Capital is currently seeking a candidate for the position of Financial Analyst in its Portland, OR office with a structured finance focus.

This position presents candidates with a unique opportunity to join a growing private equity firm that offers significant exposure to all phases of the investment process.

The Financial Analyst will provide support for the sourcing, underwriting and analysis of potential new investments, assist in deal closings and be actively involved in post-closing portfolio management and investment monitoring for Ironside's existing portfolio companies.

Primary Functions and Responsibilities

In addition to the above, key responsibilities include:

? Analyzing investment performance including maintaining and updating financial models and KPIs of Ironside portfolio companies

? Assist in implementing strategic initiatives for Ironside portfolio ? Preparing quarterly portfolio reports summarizing changes in performance and updating forecasts ? Performing detailed financial and market analysis that assist in the decisions on new debt and/or equity

investments of the firm ? Screening new investment opportunities ? Preparing various complex excel financial models including cash flow analysis and structuring ? Preparing investment committee memos ? Meeting with management teams and sponsors when assessing new investment opportunities ? Additional duties include providing direct support as deemed necessary by senior management

Compensation will be comprised of a base salary commensurate with the candidate's experience level, along with an incentive compensation tied to the platform's overall profitability.

Qualifications Education:

? Bachelor's Degree with strong academic record required. MBA or CFA certification (or track) a plus.

Experience Required: ? Minimum of 1 ? 3 years experience as an analyst with a top investment firm, investment bank or similar organization, which might include experience in private equity, leveraged finance, merchant banking, buy-side M&A and/or principal investing experience. ? Strong intellect with outstanding quantitative and qualitative analytical skills; strong knowledge of finance and accounting. ? Excellent writing, analytical and presentation skills. ? Demonstrated competency in financial statement analysis, business valuation, accounting and finance.

? Previous experience in the structured finance industry. However strong interest in all industries with inquisitive mindset to understand key value drivers for transactions.

? Advanced MS Excel modeling skills (v-lookup, macros, pivot tables) and MS Powerpoint skills. ? Team player with intellectual curiosity, a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, an innovative bent, and
