Financial Plus Credit Union Announces New Chief Executive Officer

FLINT, MI ? (Oct 2019) Financial Plus Credit Union is pleased to announce the selection of Brad Bergmooser as the credit union's new Chief Executive Officer.

Hennessy also commended Marilyn (Jill) Reno, for her service to Financial Plus Credit Union, "we wish her the very best in her upcoming retirement."

Bergmooser comes to Financial Plus Credit Union from Baxter Credit Union in Vernon Hills, Illinois, where he served as General Counsel and Vice President of Fraud. Bergmooser boasts an impressive legal background with a focus on the credit union movement, having held senior legal roles with the Illinois Credit Union System, and having worked as both inside and outside counsel for credit unions. Bergmooser holds a Bachelor's of Arts in Political Science from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan, a Juris Doctor from the University of Toledo College of Law in Toledo, Ohio, and a Master's of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana. He is a member of the state bars of Michigan and Illinois.

When asked to comment, Brad stated, "I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to lead an organization for which I have a great deal of admiration. I'm at a point where I've amassed the right level and diversity of experience to manage the challenges of being a CEO.
