Registered Nurses: For the time period January 1, 2019 through June 30, 2019, 607 first time candidates educated in Maine wrote the NCLEX examination for registered nurses and 567 passed; an 94.00% pass rate. The national pass rate for the same time period was 89.58%. (The total number of U.S. educated RN candidates was 100,977 with 89.58% passing the first time).
