This award includes only service rendered through GFWC Florida club work. The recipient of this award is a member who has given unselfishly of her time and energy for worthwhile causes through GFWC Florida club work. Volunteer work must have been performed during the current calendar year (January 1 – December 31).Each Woman’s Club may nominate one member for this award. The nominations must be sent to the District Membership Chairman, via E-Mail no later than February 1. A district nominee will be selected in each of the 14 districts by a committee of three (3); the District Membership Chairman, the District Director and the District Leadership Chairman. The District Membership Chairman will be responsible for overseeing the selection and will forward the application of her district’s nominee to the GFWC Florida 2nd Vice President, via E-Mail ONLY no later than February 15. Each of the 14 nominees will be recognized at a state meeting to be determined.CRITERIA: Include this page and attach a 2-page narrative/resume, typed or computer generated, double spaced with a minimum size 12 font. Explain why this member is being nominated and why she is deserving of this recognition. Her narrative/resume must include only her achievements and involvement in GFWC Florida Club work.
