Deaths caused by heroin increased 24% (100 more deaths).Deaths caused by oxycodone decreased by 6% (21 less).Deaths caused by cocaine increased 59% (383 more).While U-47700 was not specifically one of the drugs captured in this report, many ME districts reported the drug voluntarily. There were 80 U-47700 drug related deaths in this report, but data is incomplete. All districts will begin capturing U-47700 deaths in the 2018 report.
