Catalog Description:

This course makes emphasis on the study and application of the gator tailgating design, barbecuing experience and football spirit.

Pre-requisite:

-TLG 1380 Management of Tent Placing

-TLG 3462 Food Economics (or equivalent)

Course Objective:

The principal goals of this course are as follows:

• To learn how setup and design a successful tailgate at the university campus.

• To learn and apply conceptual and essential grilling (charcoal as well as gas) concepts and techniques.

• To understand the opponents tailgating tradition in order to professionally mock it.

By the end of this course each student should:

• Be able to carry this traditional for following next years.

• Be a skilled master at tailgating games such as Ladder Golf, Hilton Hole aka "Corn Hole", Chuckers.

• Know their individual beer/alcohol consumption hourly rate.

• Know the different conferences and a brief history or stats of its team.

Material and Supply Fees:

A minimum of $5 a game per student. Donations will be accepted from class visitors. Students and Visitors alike will pay for broken equipment due to intentional misuse.

Textbooks and Software Required:

Relevant text provided weekly by the instructors will be place as a link in the facebook group page.

No software is needed for this course.

Attendance Policy: Attendance is mandatory. A maximum of two unexcused absences is allowed. More than that will result in automatically failure of the course. Excessive tardiness will result in penalties for which extra credit must be done. Sleeping is not an excused absence.

Make-up Exam Policy: There are no exams in this course, only the period lecture quizzes. These quizzes cannot be made up, as they are used to measure attendance. Extra credit will be provided to compensate for missed quizzes.

Extra Credit:

Public sexual display and or nudity will be always accepted as extra credit for women and it is highly encourage. Clean up duties as well as location spotting duties assigned by the instructors is consider extra credit. More extra credit will be assigned weekly and listed on the facebook group page.

Penalties:

The following are events or situations that will be result in penalties

• Excessive Tardiness

• Drinking Natural Ice beer **

• Dropping Food and or wasting beer

• Wasting a game ticket

• Cheering for the other team

• Wearing the other teams colors

** Natural Ice can only be use if playing beer pong
