[Pages:2]Management Lease Information Regarding the 2013MY Escape and Fusion 1.6-liter Engine Recall

The Company has voluntarily announced a recall on 2013 Model Year Escapes and Fusions equipped with a 1.6-liter engine. While all owners of these vehicles have been notified of the recall via U.S. mail, this communication is to provide retired management lessees who currently drive the vehicles affected by this recall with key information and the plan for alternate transportation.

Depending on your situation, Management Lease participants have multiple alternatives.

For all lessees: We encourage all lessees to seek and/or provide carpooling opportunities during this recall. If you are able to park your affected vehicle and wait until further instruction as to how to obtain your replacement vehicle, please do so. If you unable to wait for a replacement vehicle and cannot make other transportation arrangements, you may rent a vehicle. Please follow the rental vehicle guidelines below.

For those lessees serviced by the WHQ Vehicle Service Center: The Vehicle Service Center (VSC) has begun providing replacement vehicles. Vehicle Programs will email you when a vehicle is available for you. Please wait for the email before visiting or contacting the VSC. We anticipate replacing all vehicles over the next 10 days. The vehicles provided will be... Used lease turn-in units and other used Company service units Possibly any Ford or Lincoln product Possibly a few years old with some wear If you rent a vehicle and later receive the email from Vehicle Programs offering a replacement vehicle; please return the rental vehicle and pick up the replacement vehicle from the WHQ VSC. If you are able to find other transportation, you may bring your vehicle to the WHQ VSC and park it without obtaining a replacement or rental vehicle. In this case, please turn in your keys at the VSC front desk and your monthly lease payment will be suspended until the recall work is completed and vehicle returned.

For those lessees serviced by other Company Garages: Contact your garage to determine loaner vehicle availability If loaner vehicles are not available, contact your local dealer and follow the Recall loaner process If the dealer is unable to provide a loaner vehicle, you may rent a vehicle. Please follow the rental vehicle guideline below.

For those lessees serviced by dealerships: Contact your dealer to determine loaner vehicle availability and follow the Recall loaner process If the dealer is unable to provide a loaner vehicle, you may rent a vehicle. Please follow the rental vehicle guidelines below.
