SKILLS SUMMARY AND REPRESENTATIVE ACCOMPLISHMENTS

After graduating as a Translator, first worked as an English teacher. Taught English to children and teenagers, and finally specialized in teaching adults, mainly professionals in executive positions who needed English at their workplace. Also held a position as a bilingual secretary at the largest state-owned bank in Argentina, where I acquired many tools and skills regarding protocol and public relations, as the position involved being in touch with some of the most representative Argentine government members and even foreign presidents and representatives of the time.

In 1995, started working as a free-lance translator and interpreter for some of the largest companies in Argentina. This experience allowed me to gain an excellent hands-on practice, and I became familiar with a broad range of topics, such as finance, e-commerce and the Internet, auditing, and technical fields connected with the oil industry, technical equipment, and medicine. Hired twice to work as an interpreter in the United States
