Peter V. Kent & Associates

• Specification, design and implementation of Medical Data Transformation Product.

Peter V. Kent & Associates collects patient information, including billing data, from hospitals in a variety of formats, e.g. UB-04, UB-92, 837, Form 1500, Excel, proprietary, etc. Data is then normalized into various forms for use in aggregate processing and billing to various agencies. The “Bridge” product allows a model for the “old” data and the “new” data to be defined using external files containing a scripting language. Bridge performs the transformation based on the defined models. This flexible, powerful approach meets the requirements for rapid support for new data formats as well as changes in existing standards and formats.
