The Film and Media Studies program is pleased to announce a partnership with the Fox Networks Group to offer internships across all of its media divisions exclusively for Arizona State University students.Fox Networks Group, a primary operating unit of News Corporation, consists of Fox Broadcasting Company (FOX), Fox Cable Networks, FOX Sports and Fox Networks Engineering & Operations. These units produce, program and transmit much of America’s most popular entertainment, sports and information content via 33 owned-and-operated TV networks, video on demand and other media platforms. FOX is America’s most-watched network, and Fox Cable Networks span FX, FX HD, National Geographic Channel, National Geographic Channel HD, Fox Reality Channel, Fox Movie Channel, Fuel TV, FSN and 16 regional cable sports networks, SPEED, SPEED HD, Fox Soccer Channel, Fox College Sports, Fox Sports en Espa?ol and the Big Ten Network and Big Ten Network HD (co-venture with the Big Ten Conference).?Internships are available in entertainment and sports across several areas of Fox Networks Group. ?Opportunities include development, programming, production, marketing, sales, and post-production at the national level. ???Internships are unpaid and require college credit. ?Students must have junior status and summer internships require a minimum of 16-24 hours per week depending on the department. ?Fall and spring internships are also available.?For summer internships, applications comprising a one-page cover letter and one-page resume must be received no later than Sunday, March 1, 2010. ?Email your application to Dr. Kevin Sandler at kevin.sandler@asu.edu. ?Additionally by this date, you must apply on the web site. ??Spring internship applications are due by November 1, 2009, and spring internships are due by July 1, 2010.?Internships are competitive. ?A panel of Film and Media Studies faculty will forward the selected candidates’ applications to Fox Networks Group for approval.
