Business Cards

For Clubs: Business cards are 2" x 3.5" and are double-sided. One side of the card features the new “S” logo and the mission statement “Improving the lives of women and girls, in local communities and throughout the world,” in PMS 659 blue. This side of the card should not be altered. All member and club information should be printed on the other side of the business card. The club name should be inserted under the “Soroptimist International of” text in place of “Club Name.” This should be done in Palatino Italic, 7.5 points. Insert the club’s address, phone, fax, e-mail and web information in Palatino Italic, caps/lowercase, 7.5 points, in place of the dummy text.

Insert the person’s name in Palatino Italic, 8 points. The individual’s title (member, president, etc.) should be in Palatino bold, all caps, 6 points.

There are two options for printing the cards: 1) If using an ink jet printer, purchase Avery Standard business card stock, product number 8371. If using a laser printer, purchase Avery Standard business card stock, product number 5371. (Avery products can be purchased at office supply stores, such as Staples, Office Max and Office Depot.) Open the “front” business card template (choose file 8371 or 5371) in Microsoft Word. After filling in the personal information, place the Avery card stock in the printer and click "print." To print backs on the cards, open the “back” business card template (choose 8371 or 5371) in Microsoft Word. Place the card stock (that has the front of the cards printed on it) in the printer the opposite way it was printed the first time (face up or face down) and click print. Since printers vary, directions for placing the card stock face up or down in the printer tray will be different depending on the printer. Therefore, it is recommended that trying to print the cards front/back on regular paper first, before using the Avery card stock. After printing, separate the cards using the perforated lines. 2) Cards can also be printed front/back on regular white card stock, any brand, and cut using scissors or a paper-cutter.

For Regions: Business cards are 2" x 3.5" and are double-sided. One side of the card is printed in PMS 659 blue and features the new “S” logo and the mission statement “Improving the lives of women and girls, in local communities and throughout the world.” This side of the card should not be altered. All member and region information should be printed on the other side of the business card. The region name should be inserted under the “Soroptimist International of the Americas” text in place of “Region Name.” This should be done in Palatino Italic, 7.5 points. Insert the region’s address, phone, fax, e-mail and web information in Palatino Italic, caps/lowercase, 7.5 points with 10.5 point leading, in place of the dummy text.

Insert the person’s name in Palatino Italic, 8 points. The individual’s title (governor, governor-elect, etc.) should be in Palatino bold, all caps, 6 points.

A similar blue can be made in Microsoft Word by adjusting the font color. If printing in color is not an option, the materials should be printed in black ink.
