NHS will not be providing copies of this movie. After watching the movie, answer the questions attached below.Below are additional documents for Options 1 & 4.Option 1: Blown to Bits Book Review Computing has transformed our lives in so many ways. Mobile computing, where we are constantly connected to others and to the world via our mobile devices, is challenging us right now to come with new norms about privacy, security, the ownership or openness of data and information, and other issues. Like any technology, mobile computing has both positive and negative impacts. We need to reflect on these impacts in general and we also think about the impacts we will create as we build our own mobile apps. One way we will be addressing these issues in this course is by reading and discussing Blown to Bits: Your Life, Liberty, and Happiness after the Digital Explosion. This book is available entirely online with a separate PDF file for each chapter. You can access the website through the link below. Save it in your phone/tablet or other e-reader device so you can access it anywhere: YOU ONLY NEED TO READ CHAPTERS 1 - 3. 1) Complete the attached vocabulary list below.2) Write a 1-page summary/reflection for each of the three chapters. What did you discover in your readings? What’s your opinion of the topics/events discussed in the chapters? You may staple or attach your 1-page summaries to this paper when your turn it into me.Blown to Bits” VocabularyChapter 1Chapter 2Chapter 3BitAd HocAlgorithmBlacklistDatabaseAnalogCharacterData AggregationASCIICyberspaceData MiningCloud ComputingData CenterData Repository CryptographyDataData SourcesDigitalData NetworkDigital DetritusDigital SignalDisc DriveDossierProcessingIntellectual PropertyEDRDownloadMoore’s LawEncodeLossless CompressionNetworkEncryptionMegabyteProcessorIP AddressMegapixelsSocial NetworkingMetadataModelingWhitelistQueryOCRRFIDPixelsRasterRenderSpam Option 4: Hidden Figures Movie ReviewThe movie Hidden Figures?, based on the book of the same name by Margot Lee Shetterly, is the true story of three brilliant African-American women at NASA: Katherine Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan, and Mary Jackson. The movie highlights their intelligence, sisterhood, and perseverance, as well as the racial and gender discrimination which affected their lives. Directions: Answer the questions below after watching the movie. Make sure to address all parts of the question in complete sentences. Your responses should be at least a paragraph for each question. Two questions will be product grades, the rest process. Be proud of the work you do. This will be a great start to AP Computer Science Principles. The movie took place during a time in the United States when black and white people were segregated. How were Katherine, Mary, Dorothy, and their co-workers challenged by discrimination? How did they succeed anyway? How did people in the movie react to segregation? How does the math you’ve studied connect to this work? What is a “computer”? How has our use of that word changed? How has the experience of women and people of color working in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) changed since the 1960s? What kinds of jobs do you think were usually available to women then? Was it the same for white women and women of color? Mary Jackson showed great perseverance as she tried to get the opportunity to earn her engineering degree. In court, she argued "someone has to be the first." Have you ever felt you were first to do something? Why is being first at something both exciting and scary? Why do you think Mary fought so hard to get her engineering degree? Dorothy Vaughan stood up for herself ?and? for other women several times in the movie. When did you notice Dorothy being an example of what it means to be part of a sisterhood of women? What was the role of friends and family members in supporting Katherine, Dorothy, and Mary? How did they support each other? Why is having a support system important? What would you do if you were told you could not pursue a career or job because of how you look or who you are? What can you, as a student do to help others, especially young people, break barriers as Katherine, Mary, and Dorothy did? What parts of the movie do you remember most (your takeaway), and why? What are you looking forward to most about AP Computer Science Principles? ................
