Camp DescriptionsArtful Antics CampPut your creative minds to work in Artful Antics Camp where campers will have the opportunity to show off their artistic skills. At the end of the week, they will showcase all of the projects they have made in the Camp 1031 Art Gallery. Previous art projects have included canvas paintings, paper mache, water balloon art, and more. Please note that Artful Antics Camp requires an additional $10 fee.Backyard Games CampReady. Set. Go! Backyard Games Camp will place camper against camper as they take part in a number of recreational games and obstacle courses that can be played in their own backyard. Campers will learn how to exhibit good sportsmanship and will remain active as they learn how to compete against one another.Basketball CampJoin us for a week of dribbling, passing, and shooting in Basketball Camp. Campers will participate in a variety of drills throughout the week to help them develop their basketball skills. At the end of the week, they will showcase all that they have learned in a basketball scrimmage.Cheerleading CampWe’ve got spirit, how about you? We’ve got spirit, we want you! In Cheerleading Camp, girls will work on a number of different cheers and routines. At the end of the week, they will head to the basketball scrimmage to cheer on the teams. Cheerleading Camp is for girls only.Karate CampCome join us for Karate Camp and learn the art of Karate. Open to both boys and girls, our campers will learn some of the basics about self-defense. They will also be participating in several different activities and games. At the end of the week, they will have an opportunity to demonstrate all that they have learned.Lego CampWant to learn how to build a house? What about a castle? Maybe even a pyramid? In Lego Camp, a child’s imagination is the only thing limiting what they can create. Our campers will be guided on how to build some projects throughout the week while also having free time to create whatever comes to mind.Music & Dance CampDo you like to sing? Do you like to dance? Do you like music in general? Then come join us for Music & Dance Camp. Campers will have the opportunity to learn various dance techniques and music styles. They will also practice some of our camp music and help lead in worship during the worship rallies.Silly Science CampPut on a lab coat, roll up your sleeves, and come for a week of fun experiments. It is about to get messy in Silly Science Camp. Our scientists will participate in several hands- on experiments throughout the week. Previous experiments have included, creating elephant toothpaste, concocting bouncy balls, constructing catapults, and so much more!Storytelling CampOnce upon a time there was a Storytelling Camp where kids put their imaginations to the test. Campers will become the authors of their imagination, as they work together to create their own stories. Storytelling Camp will be divided into two groups, one for Kindergarten-2nd Graders and the other for 3rd-5th Graders.Wood Working CampHammer, check. Nails, check. Paint, check. Get ready to build in Wood Working Camp. Campers will not only learn how to work with their hands, but also their minds. They will build various projects using the provided tools.
