Pre-production for social action. Budget- budget is non-applicable for my social action as all the equipment we will be using will be borrowed from the North West Regional college or we will utilise our own already purchased equipment. No money will be used for travelling expenses. The filming locations are somewhere we both go on a weekly basis. We both make own way over by non-financial meansEquipment- Own mobile devices. DSLR CameraFujifilm cameraTripodApple macsFinal cut proCopyright- copyright laws should remain unbroken as we will be using royalty free audio and footage. All footage used will be filmed directly by us and the footage will be edited using the college facilities (Apple macs and Final cut pro). Any music used will be taken from Youtube’s royalty free music channels. Facilities- Every facility that we will utilise for the project will be provided and accessible by the North West Regional college. The facilities include, Apple Mac computers with an editing tool installed on them called “Final Cut Pro”. A TV studio is also provided in the college for our use if necessary. Time- We are allocating ourselves approximately a few weeks to get all our footage for the product filmed, edited and perfected. We are aiming to have all our filming completed by mid-January, allowing ourselves more time if necessary to finalise our product. Clearances- The only clearances we will need are permissions of people we will be conducting an interview with and that’re filmed around our location. There will possibly be children included in our filming and therefore we will need their parent or guardian’s permission to film them. Health and safety- All health and safety will be carefully thought about before we film in our location. All equipment will need to be checked thoroughly in terms of working order and safety as we cannot have faulty equipment. We will be checking our location thoroughly for anything that could be considered harmful and/or Hazardous. Risk assessment- we will be completing an extensive risk assessment before we shoot any footage. We will also re-check the location for anything that could cause risk, Harm or be hazardous. We will test the equipment multiple times before we film any scenes as we want a semi-professional fell about our piece of work.
