Only Juniors and Seniors may purchase a ticket and must have their school ID and the completed Prom Ticket Information Sheet. All fines must be checked and PAID BEFORE purchasing a ticket. Student must be passing all classes. No tickets will be sold after 1:00pm on May 3 (the day before Prom) or at the door the night of Prom! Students MUST purchase their ticket by 1:00pm on Friday May 3 to attend Prom!-Not going to Prom but interested in attending Post Prom? Summer School will begin June 10th and end on July 11th.May 910:45 Early release day. Periods 1-4.May 13Graduation tickets for Seniors will be available May 13 through May 16 until 3:00 p.m. All fines must be paid and all books and materials from the IMC must be returned before picking up the tickets. All Seniors must turn in chromebooks to the Pretz Tech room, get a clearance sheet from Mr. Valkema, and take it down to business office. All seniors will be given six (6) tickets. If you are interested in extra tickets, please sign up for them when you pick up your tickets. If tickets become available, seniors will receive the additional ticket(s) during graduation practice on May 17.May 15The last day of school for seniors. This is a full day of school for all students. Seniors will clean out their lockers during 7th period. There will be trash barrels in the hallway to assist in this process.Seniors must be passing all classes needed to graduate by this date in order for your name to be included in the Graduation program.May 16Senior Class Picnic - Krape Park 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.Convocation – 7:00 p.m. @ the JL Theatre. Seniors should arrive by 6:40 p.m. dressed in the graduation gown but not the cap and tassel. This is the awards ceremony. Students receiving an award will be sent an invitation.May 17Graduation practice will be held at 9:00 a.m. in the west gym. Practice is mandatory. Students should arrange their work schedules in advance. Enter at the Empire Street entrance. May 19Graduation in the FHS West Gym beginning at 2:00 p.m. Seniors should arrive by 1:00 p.m. and meet in the cafeteria or east gym as assigned. Purses, camera bags, backpacks, balloons, flowers or noisemakers are not permitted in the gym due to limited space. Doors will be locked at 2 p.m., and no one will be allowed in after Graduation Ceremony begins. Handicapped seating will be available upon request. Call 232-0417 by May 15 to let the school know of special needs in advance.All fines must be paid for students to receive their diploma on graduation day.GRADUATION DRESS REQUIREMENTSDress shoes and appropriate socks must be worn. Tennis shoes or flip-flops will not be allowed.Men must wear dress pants. Blue jeans and/or shorts are not considered appropriate attire.Men need to wear a dress shirt and tie.Ladies need to try their dresses on with their gowns. Dresses should not be longer than the bottom of their gown. If pants are worn, they must be dress pants, no blue jeans and/or shorts. Please wear walkable shoes.Graduation hats must be flat on the head. Ladies need to try a hairstyle that will allow the hats to sit on the top of their head, not on the back. Bring bobby pins to secure the hats in place.Graduates will not be allowed to participate if there is additional ornamentation on caps and gowns. Any student who does not follow the dress requirements will not take part in the ceremony.If you need assistance with graduation attire, please call 232-0417.May 31Period 1 Exam 7:30-9:00 a.m. / Period 2 Exam 9:10-10:40 a.m. / Period 3 Exam 10:50-12:20 p.m. Students are dismissed at 12:20. There is no transportation until 2:35 p.m. Students can obtain a sack lunch in the cafeteria and then leave campus after exams or wait to take the bus home at the normal time. June 3Period 4 Exam 7:30-9:00 a.m. / Period 5 Exam 9:10-10:40 a.m. Students are dismissed at 10:40 a.m. There is no transportation until 2:35 p.m. Students can obtain a sack lunch in the cafeteria and then leave campus after exams or wait to take the bus home at the normal time. June 4Period 6 Exam 7:30-9:00 a.m. / Period 7 Exam 9:10-10:40 a.m. Students are dismissed at 10:40 a.m. There is no transportation until 2:35 p.m. Students can obtain a sack lunch in the cafeteria and then leave campus after exams or wait to take the bus home at the normal time.
