Part 1: Research/ Businesses Name

Make a list of 5 businesses that you would be interested in starting.

(Food, Childcare, Construction, etc….)

Explain why you would like to start this type of business

1) Ice Cream Shop

The Second Scoop

Deep Freeze

Rocky Road

The Daily Scoop

Everyone loves ice cream as it is a very popular treat among children, teenagers and adults. There is a flavor for everyone as there is a large variety of flavors. An ice cream shop would bring many customers in during the summer and make a huge profit on the hottest days of the year. An ice cream store is a great way to bring the community together and a great way to interact with the customers.

2) Candy Shop

Sweet Shack

Jelly Belly Palace

Chocolate Paradise

Sugar and Spice

Sugar Shack

In my opinion candy is a very colorful and fun product to sell. There are so many different kinds of candy and they appear in so many different flavors, colors and sizes that fit everyone needs. Kids love the sugar that comes out of candy and there is nothing more enjoyable than seeing a group of kids hyped up on candy while they run around the store trying to decide what they want. The reason why I would want to start my own candy store would be for the interior design of the store as colors, music and design are a huge part of creating a good business and candy definitely offers a great opportunity to do this

3) Music Store

Lord of The Strings

The Treble Clef

Coffee House

The Rolling Rocks

Music is apart of everyone's life and apart of every culture in some way, shape or form as some societies build their lives around music. Music has been around for hundreds of years and is a real passion in my life. I often find myself composing songs (although I do not know how to play a musical instrument). Music is heard everywhere and just being around a mixture of different kinds of music would be incredible and a really profitable business to create.

4) Book Store

The Bookworm

The Cover

The Prologue

A lot of people love reading. Books are some people hobbies and they love to hear the stories that other people have written. People are always looking out for more book stores as there aren’t very many around anymore. A book store would be a good business idea because everyday new books are released and need a place to be sold. Books are very expensive and would create a very good profit for the company. Ebooks will also be available for sale which will also contribute to the store.

5) Child Care Facility

Peek A Boo

Pacifiers and Bottles

Perfectly Baby

Teeny Boppers

Children are born everyday and even though their parents are there, they still have to work and they need someone to look after the children. Child care facilities are needed daily and the more we have the better. A child care facility would be a good business to have because it would offer more job opportunities for employment. and more place for children to go during the day while their parents are at work.
