Nassau-Central Local Chapter
WHO: This meeting is for all interested in the physics of coding, billing and compliance. You do not have to be a member of the AAPC, this local chapter, nor do you have to be a certified coder.
WHAT: This local chapter will:
1. hold regular monthly meetings where CEU’s are offered
1. educate, inform and relate to others on the general knowledge and basics of accurate ICD-9 and CPT coding, billing and reimbursement.
1. have guest speakers
1. attack specific coding challenges
1. offer the certification examination and study sessions
1. provide networking opportunities on a local level

We would like to add some fun back into coding. Come and join us, we will be playing trivia games pertaining to coding and Medical Terminology. Must bring your CPT & ICD-9 Books. There will be fun, food and prizes. Don’t worry there will be CEU’s too!

Directions
From Queens:
Take the Grand Central Parkway east. It will become the Northern State Parkway. Take the Northern State Pkwy to exit 25, Lakeville Rd., make a right onto Marcus Ave., and proceed to the next light; make a right onto Lakeville Rd. Continue North on Lakeville Rd., to the LIE service road; make a right. The next light will be Community Dr., make a left and follow directions above.
From Eastern Long Island:
Take the LIE to Exit 33, Community Dr. At the light make a right onto Community Dr., and follow the directions from above.
From Manhattan:
Take the Queens Midtown Tunnel to the Long Island Expressway, take the LIE east to Exit 33, Lakeville Road/Community Dr., and continue on the service road. Cross over Lakeville Rd to the second light, which will be Community Dr., make a left. Going North on Community Dr., approximately three lights, you will p ass the North Shore Hospital Campus on your right. Once you pass the traffic light for Hospital entrance #1, make the next left in front of the “Lake Success Business Park Sign”. Proceed straight up the hill bearing left passing the Waldbaum Dialysis Center on your right. The Administration Offices will be on the right hand side.
