Human Body Systems BookYour assignment: write a portion of a children’s book appropriate for a fourth or fifth grade student on the body system your group is assigned. The format of your book should include:Basic Information that needs to be included in your book:Title for your page (your body system: doesn’t have to be that straightforward though)Picture of your system within the human body (draw it or print it, I care not-these are little ones, so no genitals in the pics please)Organs included within the systemDescribe how the system works (spend the most time here…)Disorders/diseases associated with this systemWays to keep this system healthyChoose 1 other body system and describe how that system and your system work together (spend the 2nd most amount of time here)2 fun/interesting facts about the system 2 additional illustrations with captionsSources: List websites, books, etc. that you used to prepare this project. Each group will submit their sources SEPARATE from their “book” and they will be compiled at the end of the book. Please use MLA format. Please keep in mind: 1. This book is aimed at 4th and 5th graders. It isn’t our intent to “explain” how babies are made. That’s what their parents get paid for. I want them to have more than a general overview of the systems, but not lose their innocence over it, if you catch my drift. That would mean that those doing the FRS shouldn’t choose to divulge just how the MRS could work with it to create offspring. Keep it clean and go easy on the graphic nature of the pictures too please. If your portion is too graphic in such ways, it will be refused and that would impact your grade negatively.2. Your group will present your book portion to the class. We are big kids, so we don’t want to be read to. TELL us about the information you gathered, but don’t read your page to us. Each group member should have a speaking part. 3. Each member of your group will complete a peer and a self-evaluation at the end of the project. You are expected to be candid and fair regarding your classmates participation as well as your own. I will be watching intently as this is completed and will be aware of who is putting forth the effort and who is not. That means I can’t allow group members to give a 100 to the person who did nothing, nor a 25 to the person who did lots of work.
