Mr. Dwight Dion Clyburn

Dwight Dion Clyburn, son of Kathy Clyburn Louallen and the late Billy Clay McKay Sr. was born on February 3, 1976 in Cheraw, South Carolina. He departed this life on Sunday, October 2, 2022 at Novant HealthHuntersville, North Carolina.

Dwight was raised in a Christian environment. He accepted Christ at an early age and later rededicated his life to Christ and was baptized under the teaching of Pastor Eddie Smith of Faith Family Church in Jefferson, South Carolina.

Dwight attended Chesterfield County public school system where he played football and was very popular. He was employed by BFF in Charlotte, North Carolina. Dwight had a heart that drew in everyone he met. He was always full of laughter and smiles. Once you meet him, you will never forget him. Dwight loved the Dallas Cowboys, his dogs, and traveling. He cherished his family and friends but was most proud of his children and their accomplishments.

Dwight was loved beyond measure and his memories are everlasting in the hearts of his children: Ciera Makalah Coppala-Clyburn of Charleston, SC, Ahmir Kiaeem Clyburn of Vineland, NJ and Xavier Dion Clyburn of Jefferson, SC; parents: Lynel and Kathy Louallen of Jefferson, SC; two sisters: Iris Louallen of Jefferson, SC and Jamerial Chambers of Charlotte, NC; two brothers: Dustin (Courtney) Louallen of Elgin, SC and Marcus Johnson of Charlotte, NC; a sister-in-love: Letitia (Travis) Gordon of Charlotte, NC; fianc?: Yaschica Sloan of Charlotte NC; a very special aunt, Patricia Miller, Jefferson, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, godchildren, aunts, uncles and cousins.

In addition to his father, Dwight was preceded in death by a brother, Billy McKay Jr.
