Survey on Media and Sense of Humor

Thank you for taking the time to participate in this study. A team of faculty and students is studying ways in which media exposure and sense of humor are related. Attached you will find a questionnaire that will ask you about some of your communication behaviors, attitudes, and habits, and will ask you to report on a variety of preferences toward humorous media and situations.

Please answer all questions to the best of your ability. You are not being judged in any way by your answers; and as this survey is confidential (indeed, your name will be removed from the front of the questionnaire), please be as truthful and honest as possible. Your participation is voluntary, and you may choose not to participate. Please read the instructions at the beginning of each section before answering. There are no foreseeable risks in participating in this survey. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Prof. Kim Neuendorf at (216) 687-3994.

Thank you.

If you have any questions about your rights as a research subject, you can contact Cleveland State University's Review Board at (216) 687-3630.
