Gadsden State Community College is a two-year public community college in Etowah County with Ayers, Cherokee County, East Broad, McClellan and Valley Street branch campuses. It has just under 7,000 students, with 95% from Alabama and 55% full-time. The school operates on a semester system and is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
