Volunteers are welcome to serve any time children’s ministry is offered, except when a unique class is offered during the same time for their own age group. Kids Serve volunteers are assigned to one-, two-, or three-year-old classrooms. Once enrolled with Kids Serve, the student will be able to serve any of our campuses, and they must check in at the Gateway Kids check-in desk or self-serve kiosk to create a Kids Serve name tag before entering a children’s classroom. Participation in Kids Serve requires: Proper attire. A positive attitude. Attending an age-appropriate Gateway Kids, Gateway Students, or weekend service every week. Students may serve during as many services as they want. We consider it a privilege to work with the children and teachers in our classrooms. To maintain our standards and level of service, we invest in equipping Kids Serve volunteers to understand our guidelines and behavioral expectations. We evaluate performance and address any violation of the guidelines. (This may require removing a student from a classroom.) ................
