Graduating part-time J.D. students in their final semester of law school may take more than 85 credits and will not be charged for those extra credits completed at the Georgetown Law. Student must pay tuition for 85 Georgetown Law credits. Transfer students and students who receive scholarship and grants are ineligible for tuition relief under this policy. Requests must be submitted to the Office of the Registrar no later than 3:00 pm on the first day of classes as published in the Academic Calendar.

NOTE: It is the student’s responsibility to ensure that registration in additional credits meets with any employment or financial aid restrictions/requirements. Federal loans require enrollment in at least 6 credits per semester.
