Saint John the Evangelist

By Gianna Goodrow

Saint John was one of the twelve apostles. His feast day is December 27th. He was generally recognized as the youngest apostle. He is most know as the author of one of the four Gospels, The Gospel According to John. He is represented with an eagle, which means he spreads the Word of God. John was a leading member of Jesus' apostles and had a close relationship with our savior; and served an important role as a leader of the church.

Catechesis of the Good Shepard (CGS) | Items needed for the Level 1 Atrium

My dear friends in Christ, as you may be aware St. John's Parish has opened a level 1 Atrium. The level 1 Atrium is a new approach to teaching our faith to our youngest parishioners ages 3-5. We are still in need of a few major items, as seen below, as well as other materials. If you are able to help us acquire these items your generosity would help to bring our young children closer to understanding our Catholic faith and help them to understand the loving presence of our Lord. If you can help in any way please make your donation payable to St. John the Evangelist Church and in the memo, please mark this for the CGS program. Thank you so much for your support of our youth and may this New Year bring you all Peace, Prosperity, and Hope!
