Praise Him that you will never perish, but have eternal life. Thank God he is your Shepherd who will lead you through the valley of the shadow of death and into the house of the Lord where you will dwell forever.)III. Am I taking the Lord’s Name in vain?Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal areas in which you may be taking the Lord’s name in vain. (Is my life profaning God’s name by my conduct or is my life “setting God’s name apart” by allowing people to see God’s Name and glorify Him? You can sanctify [set apart] God by the example of your righteous life, as well as by your words of praise and adoration [Matthew 5:16]).Submit yourself to the Lordship of Christ.PRAYER OUTLINE – Station #2“Priorities”Make a declaration of faith: “Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done– (not simply willed – BUT DONE!) on earth as it is in heaven.” - Romans 14:17; Matthew 6:33.(Just as the set rudder determines a ships course, so the tongue sets the course of one’s life, for the tongue is the rudder of life. – James 3:3-5)Four major areas to establish His Kingdom.YourselfBe sure you are right with God. (James 5:16)Ask Jesus to be seated on the throne of your life and rule in every area.Abide before the Lord until the course of your day is set and the Spirit of God is functioning in you.(Each day pray that God’s kingdom – His righteousness, joy and peace – be established in you and that His will for you that day be set in your spirit. Invite Jesus to assume His rightful place on the throne of your heart and rule your spirit, soul, and body. Then pray over particular concerns in which you will be involved throughout the day. Ask the Holy Spirit to empower you with ability, efficiency and might. – Jude 20).Your FamilyMate(Pray that righteousness, peace and joy will rule your mate’s life. If you lose your own house, your work for the house of God will be greatly hindered.)Children/Grandchildren(Pray “Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done” in the heart and life of your children. Make specific petitions. Listen to what the Holy Spirit speaks to you regarding your children.)Other family members.(Petition the Lord to lay other family members upon your heart. Allow the circle of your concern and compassion to be enlarged.)NOTE: At times you are sure to get “hung up” in prayer, unable to leave one person. When this happens be sensitive to the Holy Spirit because He knows that person needs prayer that day. Make sure that you DO NOT RUSH through some little prayer formula, but pray until the Holy Spirit gives you release.Your church. (I Timothy 6:12)Your pastor.(Ask God to anoint your pastor, speak to him and direct him. Petition the Lord to give your pastor a shepherd’s heart, to impart wisdom and open the Word of God to him. Ask the Lord to let your pastor be a pure channel through which the gifts and power of the Holy Spirit can flow.)Leadership of church. (Elders/Staff/Deacons)(Say the leader’s names in prayer. Allow the Holy Spirit to show you specific needs. Pray that the Lord will make the various groups and organizations in the church healthy.)Faithfulness of the people.(Pray that the people of the church will be faithful to their families, to the vision God has given your church and to Jesus. Ask the Holy Spirit to plant them in the house of the Lord, so they will bring forth fruit as soul winners and intercessors. Pray that they will be faithful in bringing their tithes and offerings into the storehouse and that they will serve God as He deserves to be served.)The harvest. (Is. 43:5-7)(I pray and speak to the powers and principalities of the air who work in the children of disobedience (see Eph. 2:2). These powers and principalities hold the reins over certain areas, so I speak to the area north of my church as if it were a person and say, “North, you have people God will to become a part of my church. I command you in the Name of Jesus to release every person who is supposed to become a part of this body.” Then I speak to the South, East and West, and in the Spirit I look them right in the face. I command them to release EVERY ONE…not every other one… who God has ordained to be saved, planted, strengthened and established in my church.)NationCity, state and national political leaders.Spiritual leaders.RevivalAsk the Spirit of God:To implement your priorities. To help you live them out. Here’s a Tip: If your prayer time is gone and you have not prayed through al the topics in the Lord’s Prayer, STOP and then PICK UP the prayer outline where you left off at the first opportunity later in the day – driving your car, working around the house, working out, before going to sleep. LET YOUR LIFE BECOME A LIFE OF PRAYER.PRAYER OUTLINE – Station #3“PROVISION”Make a declaration of faith: “Give us this day our daily bread.” Matthew 6:11Be in the will of God.Ask the Holy Spirit to help you develop a consistent, daily personal prayer life and time in the Word where you fellowship daily with Jesus.Being in the will of God implies four things: Fellowship with Jesus through prayer and reading the Word of God.- Acts 1:8 Fellowship with God’s Church. - Hebrews 13:17Diligent, balanced work habits. – I Thess. 4:11,12; I Thess. 3:11,12; 2 Thess. 3:10; (Don’t let riches choke out the Word of God/Workaholics) – Matt. 13:22Obedience in giving. – Malachi 3:8-9; Luke 6:38; Matthew 6:33Pray for the Lord will plant you in your local church and make you a contributing, functioning healthy part of that church body.Examine your work habits. Are you slothful? A workaholic? Ask the Lord to give you ability, efficiency, might and balance.Examine your giving. Are you obeying the Lord in bring your tithes and offerings into the storehouse? Or are you greedy, stingy or a poor manager? Do you pay your bills and have a reputation as a fair and honest person who keeps your word? Take time to pray along these lines.Believe it is God’s will to prosper you.Memorize Scriptures such as Luke 6:38 and Philippians 4:19 to use as faith declarations as you pray in your provision?Meditate upon the Word of God until you truly understand and believe it is God’s will to bless you. – Prov. 10:22; Philip. 4:19; 2 Cor. 9:8,10,11Be Specific.Bring specific needs daily before God. (Immediately after Jesus gave His disciples the Lord’s Prayer in Luke 11, He related a parable illustrating the importance of asking specifically. Pay close attention to Jesus’ words in Luke 11:5, 6. The man asked for 3 loaves, that is what he needed.)Decide to pray instead of worry. – Philippians 4:6-7Be Tenacious.Repossess lost ground the devil has stolen from you. Discouragement and unbelief have robbed you of answers to prayer. Take up those petitions again and persevere until the answer comes. – Luke 18:1-8(It takes tenacity, shameless, persistence, to recover what Satan, or adversary, has stolen from us, but today many believers are not aware of that fact. Instead they search for “spiritual shortcuts”. There are times you have to intercede fervently, for many needs and situations require earns tenacity before victory comes. – Matthew 7:7; Luke 18:1; Hebrews 11:6.Praise and thank the Lord because He is Jehovah-Jireh: He sees your need beforehand and makes provision.PRAYER OUTLINE – Station #4“PEOPLE”And forgive us our debts…Matt 6:12Ask God to forgive you.Deal with your sins. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal areas in your life that are not pleasing to God. (If the Holy Spirit puts his finger on some sin you need to confess and forsake, then confess the sin and claim his promise in I John 1:9)Confess your sin. Agree with God and say what He says about your sin. Ask Him to help you hate your sin with perfect hatred and to deliver you from its dominion. Praise His name, Jehovah-m”kaddesh, “the Lord Who Sanctifies. (Confess meant to “speak the same thing.” We must agree with what God says about our sin and be willing to turn away from it.”Ask the Lord to forgive you of personal debt or moral obligations connected to relationships with others.)Do NOT allow condemnation. Remember: You are the righteousness of God in Christ. You are complete in Him. – Romans 8:1-2.…as we forgive our debtors…Matt. 6:12Forgive as often as you want to be forgiven.Meditate upon your great debt of sin that God has forgiven.See your sin actually causing Jesus’ suffering on the cross. Get a mental picture of the blood that was shed for your forgiveness.By an act of your will, forgive those who have sinned against you and release them to God. Pray for those who have wronged you. (Matt. 18:21,22)(Forgive others as many times as you are offended. Why would Jesus tell us to do this? Because that is how many times Jesus is ready and willing to forgive us.Once we realize how much we have been forgiven by God, we can freely forgive others. If you have trouble forgiving, ask God to give you a revelation of Calvary and the cross and the price His Son paid for your forgiveness.) – Matt. 18:23-25Set your will to forgive anyone who sings against you this day.Make up your mind to return good for evil by the grace and power of the Holy Spirit within you. (The key to a right attitude is preparation. Don’t put off deciding how you will react to those who wrong you until the hot breath of the enemy is steaming up your glasses.)Make this faith declaration: “I will love my enemies. I will bless them that curse me and do good to them that hate me. I will pray for them which despitefully use me, and persecute me.” – Matthew 5:44.(Romans 4:25 tells us Jesus “was delivered {over to death} for offenses”….not just for the offenses of others against us, but for all our offenses against Him). - Eph. 4:32Pray that you will begin to experience the fruit of the Spirit in your life in greater measure: love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, meekness, temperance and faith. – Galatians 5:22, 23. (Isaiah 26:3 pledges, “You, O Lord, will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee.” That word “stayed” actually means “sustained,” “supported by”. DON’T FRET about the offense. Lean on, rely on and be confident in Him, and He will come to your aid, help you to stand and comfort you!)REMEMBER: You must choose to forgive, for forgiveness is not an emotion but an act of the will. You have a choice to make about this test God has allowed to come your way. Will your reaction to the offense fashion it into a tombstone or a stepping stone? It’s your decision. MAKE IT COUNT!PRAYER OUTLINE – STATION #5“POWER”And do not lead us into temptation…Matthew6:13Living a Christian life is not a Sunday school picnic. There are dangers in your walk with Christ. There is an enemy that would destroy you, there is a possibility you may fall. God wants to help you avoid dangers and temptations of life. When you pray, “Lead us not into temptation,” you are not praying, “Lord, don’t tempt us.” God would never tempt us, because He is good. God could never tempt us because He is holy.” – James 1:13. When you pray, “Lead us not into temptation,” you are asking for God to lead you to a place where you can overcome temptation, just as He promised He would do in I Cor. 10:13.Put on the whole armor of God - Eph. 6:10-18Loins girded with TRUTH (vs 14) – JESUS IS MY TRUTH. – John 14:6.(Loins are the lower bowel area of the body. The Psalmist said, “Surely you desire truth in the inner parts; you teach me wisdom in the inmost place. Psalm 51:6 NIV. As a believer, you are to be filled with the truth of God; you are to be a person of total integrity and moral rectitude. You must know who you are in God who God is in you. You gird your loins with truth by reaffirming the truth about yourself and about God and by acting upon that truth in God’s Word.)Breastplate of RIGHTEOUSNESS. (14) – JESUS, YOU ARE MY RIGHTEOUSNESS. – 2 Cor. 5:21; Col. 2:10.(What is the believer’s breastplate of righteousness? It is the righteousness of God through faith. It is justification (not guilty) by the blood of the cross. This righteousness is the result of the renovation of the heart by the Holy Spirit.)(The righteous new man with the breastplate of righteousness resists, defends against and refuses to entertain evil suggestions. The breastplate of righteousness diligently guards the heart of the believer, for out of the heart are the issues of life. – Prov. 4:23)Feet shod with the PREPARATION (readiness) of the gospel of PEACE. (15) JESUS, YOU ARE MY READINESS. – Philip. 4:13.(As participants in spiritual warfare, we are to shoe our feet with the preparation, the readiness and preparedness, the firm-footed stability, found in the gospel of peace. As we walk daily in the revealed will of God and order our conduct and conversation according to His Word, we will experience a sense of “oneness” with God and a “consciousness” of divine aid equal to any problem. As believers, we are to walk in the will of God and leave “footprints of peace” wherever we go)Shield of FAITH. (16) – JESUS, YOUR ARE MY FAITH. – Gal. 2:20; Rom. 10:17.(As Followers of Christ, our faith serves us just as a shield serves the soldier, but how do we get faith? Romans 10:17 says that, “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word (rhema) of God.” Galatians 5:22 says that faith is a fruit of the Holy Spirit. Galatians 2:20 says we live by faith of the Son of God, who loved us and gave Himself for us. Faith is the believer’s shield.)“With which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.”(The ‘evil one’ does not refer to an impersonal force, but to Satan and the evil foes described in Eph. 6:12. The ancient shields were made of wood so they could be lightweight and were covered with hides. The hides were soaked in water to quench flaming arrows the enemy’s most dangerous missiles shot to destroy and wound mortally. The believer takes the shield of faith and declares, “I trust in You, Lord, to protect me. Because I am hiding in You, nothing can touch me today that You do not allow.”)Helmet of SALVATION. (17) – JESUS, YOU ARE MY SALVATION. – Heb. 5:9; Ps. 140:7.(The helmet of salvation protects the believers mind and thinking. The word “take” literally means “receive.” To receive in hand the helmet of salvation, which is the “gift of God?” Pray for and receive the mind of Christ and the peace of God that garrisons and mounts guard over your thoughts [Phil. 4:7]).Sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God. (17) – JESUS, YOU ARE MY LIVING WORD. – John 6:63.(The sword is an offensive weapon. The Christian’s power and authority are the word of God. The word of God referenced here is “rhema.” This is the individual scripture, statement, command or instruction which the Spirit speaks to our spirits or brings to our remembrance for use in time of need. Fill your mind full of Scripture. (Memorize and meditate).Pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. (18) – JESUS, YOU ARE MY BAPTIZER IN THE SPIRIT. – Matt. 3:11; Rom. 8:27Build a Hedge of Protection – Job 1:10Three ‘Because’:Because we have made the Lord our habitation. – Ps. 22:3; Eph. 5:18-19Because we have set our love upon Him. – Ps. 27:4-6: Ps. 91:10-11Because we have known His name. – Prov. 18:10; Declare: “He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in Him will I trust.” – Ps. 46:1PRAYER OUTLINE – Station #6“PRAISE”We opened our prayer with praise and now we close it with praise. Praise and Worship reconstitute God’s people because Praise is the Bible’s most dynamic commandment. Praise and worship restores us to the spiritual state that God intended and gives believers the dynamic, supernatural energy and force that is so vital to victory, wholeness and harmony. The unrighteous refuse to offer praise to God (Romans 1:21; Rev. 16:9), but God’s people always have been and always will be people of praise. The Bible reveals many ways to express our love, gratitude and worship to the Lord. Three Hebrew words demonstrate how believers are to use their mouths in praising God:Hallal – means to be vigorously excited, to laud, boast, rave, to celebrate with a loud voice.Barak – to bless, to declare God the origin of power for success, prosperity and fertility; to be still.” This praise may be quiet and hushed.Shaback – means “to commend, address in a loud tone, to shout.”As we set our hearts to worship God acceptably, the Holy Spirit will teach us how and when to use our mouths in offering praise to God.Bodily movement is also associated with praise as seen in the Old Testament for praise:Todah – means to extend the hands in thanksgivingYadah – means to worship with extended hands. To throw out the hands, enjoying God.“For Yours is the Kingdom and the power and the glory forever. AMEN.” – Matt. 6:13The KingdomPraise the Lord because He has translated you out of the kingdom of darkness and into the kingdom of love and light. – Col. 1:12-14; 2 Tim. 4:18.Make faith declarations: “The Lord shall preserve me from every evil work, and preserve me unto His Heavenly Kingdom.” – Ps. 22:28; Luke 12:32.Praise God because He has invited you to be a participant in His kingdom. The PowerPraise the Lord because He has invited you to be a participant in His power.Ps. 68:35; Deut. 8:18; Isa. 40:29; I Peter1:5; I Cor. 6:14.Meditate upon the power of God your Father. Measure your problems against His mighty, miraculous works and His great love for you. – I Chron. 29:12; Psalm 21:13; Jer. 12:12; Ps. 66:7.Make this faith declaration: “I am strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. I have been endued with power from on high. Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world My Father gives me strength and power to get wealth. He gives power to the faint. As my day so shall my strength be. He keeps me by His power. He has given me power to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing shall by any means hurt me.” Luke 10:19; Luke 24:49; Eph. 6:10; I Cor. 4:20.The GloryBehold the glory of the Lord….the character and ways of God, exhibited through Jesus Christ. Ask the Holy Spirit to change you into the same image by forming Christ within you. Ask that you be transformed by the renewing of your mind.Ps. 24:6; I Chron. 16:27; Isa. 42:8; Heb. 2:9-10; Ask the Lord to help you walk worthy of Him and to help you serve Him as He deserves to be served. – 2 Cor. 3:18; I Peter 5:10; 1 Thess. 2:11, 12; Ps. 145:10-13.Praise Him and give Him Glory. – I Chron. 29:10-13 NIV.Express Faith in God’s AbilityGod is more than able to move in every situation, and ending our prayer time claiming His authority and power focuses our minds on the truth and hope of who He is and what He can do. – Jeremiah 32:17Remind yourself of God’s limitless power and then return to praising Him and declaring your faith in Him. Make these final declarations:“Yours is the Kingdom” – All authority belongs to You!“Yours is the Power” – All mightiness flows from You!“Yours is the Glory” - Your victory will be complete! ................
