The safety of our homeowners and guests is of the utmost importance to us. Recently, many safety violations have been brought to the HOA’s attention. We are contacting registered golf cart owners to ensure you are aware of certain golf cart rules and regulations.?1.? ? ?NO chairs/or equipment permitted on the back of parked carts: Remove any chairs from the back of the cart and place them inside of the vehicle when parking your cart. Chairs hanging from the back of carts impede navigation through the golf cart parking areas. It has caused damage to vehicles/property. This is the biggest complaint the office receives about golf carts. Therefore, security will be checking golf carts for this violation. Homeowners will be given a warning on the first offense. $50 fines will be instituted for recurring violations.2.???? According to SC law, operators of golf carts must be at least 16 years old and have a valid driver’s license.? Underage/unlicensed drivers ARE NOT permitted on Arcadian Dunes premises.?The first violation will result in a warning – the second violation will result in a fine of $100.00.3.???? New parking area for golf carts:? The golf cart parking area between buildings 20 & 24 is completed. a.???? Only the smaller (regular) sized carts are allowed in this new area. Backing into the spaces is not permitted. ?4.???? The annex golf cart parking may no longer be used since Arcadian Dunes does not own the property. Please begin using the original golf cart parking near building 19 or the new parking area between buildings 20 & 24.a.???? We realize that this transition will occur over time since many of you will not return to Arcadian Dunes for several months. If your cart is parked in the annex area, please move it to one of the two designated area upon your return.5.???? Golf carts must be in one of the Golf Cart Parking spaces from 8 p.m. to sunrise from April 1 - September 15. They may only be parked at your unit for loading and unloading (1 hr. maximum). They may not be parked in any other common ground areas. Golf Carts parked in violation of this policy will be assessed $50 per offense.6.? If you sell your unit, your golf cart does not transfer with the unit.? It must be removed from the property.?Following the above rules and regulations helps keep our community enjoyable for everyone.
