Captain Evan Lanier

Battalion Policy

Captain Evan Lanier‘s goal for this semester is to keep up with the standard, Honor Unit with Distinction, and establish an effective chain of command. You are expected to follow the Army Values (Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless-Service, Honor, Integrity, and Personal Courage) and respect each other, your leaders, AND your subordinates. Make sure you always wear the uniform with pride and on any days you are assigned. When coming across an officer, cadets must salute them as a sign of respect. Feed Back from Fieldtrip to Seymour Johnson AFB: What They Learned:

The trip to Seymour Johnson was a good chance for the cadets to see what life on and Air Force base is like. Also it’s good for the cadets to see the F15E, that is a two seat fighter jet that can carry a lot of bombs. The other thing is that the cadets saw a red line which meant you couldn’t cross it; if you did you would be in very bad shape. You would be in a heap of trouble. You would have Special Forces all over you. The Jets cost 65 million dollars a piece and the Air Force gets most of the money than any of the other branches of service. The dorms are for one person E1 – E5 and you live there for free. Then you can live off base, in your own house and also can apply for loan.

Alpha:

Ashley Guenthner & Kayla Whaley:

– The F-15E has two seats, and you can control it through the back

– The biggest bomb was 20,000 lbs.

Bravo:

Bertha Gonzalez, Manuel Castro, Ana Ramirez, Jose Gonzalez:

- F-15E has 3 engines but one is back-up

- Food is cheap & Good quality

Charlie:

Belen Chavez & Tanya Zamora:

– Saw Bombs and went into the airplane, and the uniforms
