1. This villain’s hissing, screeching voice may have reminded viewers of another 80’s cartoon villain: Cobra Commander. In truth, this is because they had the same voice actor, Chris Latta. In Transformers: The Movie, he finally managed to overthrow his commander, Megatron, and seize control of the Decepticons, but his brief rule was ended when Megatron, now called Galvatron, returned to Cybertron and vaporized him during his coronation. 6. This group, though not a nation, is currently the twelfth-largest economy in the world, and climbing. Hailed by most as the greatest entertainment force in history, this half-American, half-Scandinavian metal band has written dozens of brutal songs, such as “Blood Puke”, “Suitcase Full of Guts”, “Killed by a Troll” and “Thunderhorse” (which appears on Guitar Hero II). The band’s concerts are notoriously violent, often resulting in the dismemberment or death of many fans. Today, he lives in Flat Zone, a combination of some of his previous homes, including Manhole, Helmet, and Oil Panic. 8. The mystery starts when high school student Brendan gets a terrified phone call from his ex-girlfriend, Emily. After this act was passed and resistance died down, the “Fifty States Initiative” assigned a team of heroes to protect each state. Unlike previous attempts to monitor people with exceptional abilities, this act did not specifically target mutants. Rather, anybody of superhuman ability, whether it was the magic of Doctor Strange or the technology of Iron Man, would be liable. Guppy, trying to keep his nemesis, Jean LaFoote, the Barefoot Pirate, from stealing his precious cereal cargo. 16. The band was originally called “The Rain”, after a Beatles B-side, but the name was changed after the lead singer’s brother joined the band as songwriter. They began a much-hyped rivalry with fellow Britpoppers Blur when both bands released competing singles at the same time. His career was cut short by a devastating knee injury in the 1985-86 season, and eventually retired with 19,665 career points. 19. In the record-throwing scene from Shaun of the Dead, Ed throws this song’s 12-inch single at one of the zombies, drawing cries from Shaun, who claims that it was an original pressing. Two separate remixes have been released, one in 1988, and one in 1995, the 1988 remix appearing on the band’s greatest hits album.
