The Service Contract Act (SCA) is applicable to this contract as it applies to the entire 00CORP: Professional Services Schedule (PSS) and all services provided. While no specific labor categories have been identified as being subject to SCA due to exemptions for professional employees (FAR 22.1101, 22.1102 and 29 CFR 541.300), this contract still maintains the provisions and protections for SCA eligible labor categories. If and / or when the Contractor adds SCA labor categories / employees to the contract through the modification process, the Contractor must inform the Contracting Officer and establish a SCA matrix identifying the GSA labor category titles, the occupational code, SCA labor category titles and the applicable WD number. Failure to do so may result in cancellation of the contract.

Functional Duties/Responsibilities: Responsible for Pivotal Resources’s relationship with its clients and the work of all consultants on the project. Also responsible for consulting and training at the Executive level.

ï Coach and lead training sessions (especially Executive Leadership sessions)

ï Provide direct interface with the highest level at the client

ï Engage the client from the proposal stage to the delivery stage and quality assessment

ï Serve as subject-matter experts, with leading contributions on specific business processes, functional specialties or industries

ï Identify potential issues and roadblocks in a project and bring them to the attention of the team management to resolve them quickly and efficiently

Minimum Education Level: Bachelor’s degree required. Many individuals hold additional degrees. Most are Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belts or Master Black Belts. NOTE: Pivotal’s Labor Category pricing is not based on education level or professional certifications held. Minimum Experience Requirements: Total work experience is 15-plus years, both in consulting and leadership positions in Fortune 1000 companies, government and other organizations. Proven ability to deliver measurable value via leading-edge solutions tailored to specific industry or business problems. Extensive experience as engagement managers or senior staff of large, complex, multi-million dollar consulting assignments. In-depth understanding of, and experience with, a wide range of project-management and quality assurance techniques coupled with sound business judgment. Must demonstrate superior oral and writing skills as well as outstanding analytic and problem-solving abilities.

Executive Workshop

Participants: Senior leaders, Project Champions

Objectives:

• Establish the importance of managing and measuring the efficiency of operational processes, and using a structured model to identify improvement opportunities

• Review the options for structuring a Lean Six Sigma initiative

• Establish process infrastructure roles and responsibilities

• Review the health of the organization’s core processes

• Introduce the DMAIC improvement process and the most fundamental Lean Six Sigma concepts

• Identify a list of potential process improvement opportunities

• Begin to develop a process improvement “vision”

Overview:

Experience and research have shown that the support of Senior Leaders and Project Champions is often what separates successful from failed improvement efforts. Pivotal’s Executive Workshop prepares these key individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively support Lean, Six Sigma or other change initiatives. Role-plays, checklists, common pitfalls and extensive discussion of responsibilities make this course a practical, effective step in preparing leaders to sponsor change.

DMAIC Project Workshop ( Green Belt”)

Overview:

After completing the DMAIC Project Workshop, Black Belts will have a solid understanding of the fundamentals of the Lean Six Sigma methodology. The Advanced Training workshop builds on this knowledge.

Upon completion of Six Sigma Advanced Training, participants will be able to:

• Create and evaluate formal Null and Alternative Hypotheses

• Select and apply appropriate hypothesis testing tools, including chi-square, t-tests, F- tests, ANOVA and Mood's median

Core Concepts of Lean Six Sigma with Simulation

Objective: This workshop offers a “hands on” introduction to Lean Six Sigma tools and principles by participants working together in improving a business process. Additionally, this workshop will begin building critical distinctions and a shared language for problem solving that helps teams to work collaboratively and effectively in resolving improvement challenges.

• Develop a common understanding of Lean Six Sigma and how it can impact the achievement of business objectives

• Clarify roles and key responsibilities in executing improvement efforts
