Quality Fragrance Reprice Reminder

Beginning, Monday, April 12, several Quality Fragrance SKUs received a price increase. Stores were provided the applicable SKU list in Friday's Store Communication and were instructed to work to get these products repriced (using the white pricing stickers) as soon as possible.

NOTE: Products remaining from Direct Fragrance will NOT be changing price at this time.

National Volunteer Week is Next Week!

Just like in years past, we will be offering a 30% discount to Hospital Volunteers during the National Volunteer Week (from April 18 - 24). District Managers are sending an email to Hospital Contacts this week to help get the word out about this offer. Here are a few details regarding this promotion:

? Store employees should verify the volunteer's badge and then process a line-item discount for applicable products

? Normal "employee" and no-compound discount exclusions apply

? A printable sign will be sent with Friday's Store Communication with instructions to put up with other Week 17 signage

New Easter Markdowns

Beginning Monday, April 12, the following Russell Stover Easter candy will receive an additional markdown in the system:

Stores should use the orange pricing stickers to reprice applicable products. Merchandise Easter products near the register and suggest as quick add-ons.

Mi9 Adjustment Reminder for Hallmark Easter Cards/Bags

Going forward, Seasonal Hallmark Cards/Bags will require an Inventory Adjustment Transaction in Mi9 as directed by Corporate on a Seasonal Basis (This process was formerly completed via an RTV) ? Select "Seasonal Cards/Bags" from the Reason Dropdown when completing this directive ? Destroy and Discard once processed

An Inventory Adjustment can now be processed for the Hallmark Easter Cards & Bags!

Effective Wednesday, April 14, the following retail price changes will occur:

Papyrus / American Greetings Store Visits

Papyrus/American Greetings reps began visiting current Papyrus designated stores on March 22. So far, 51 of the 139 applicable stores have received a visit and the remaining stores will be serviced by April 22.

Merchandiser Representatives will do the following during the visit: ? Identify all seasonal cards and gift bags/wrap and provide credits for all those goods. Any product for the

following upcoming seasons will be excluded: Mother's Day, Father's Day and Graduation ? Evaluate the current condition of the spinner rack and evaluate existing everyday stock in order to provide

the Support Center with an estimated cost to fill completely ? Deface all seasonal product that credit will be issued against (store will need to retain the defaced inventory

so that it can be scanned out in Mi9)

Merchandiser Representatives WILL NOT: ? Take the product with them or dispose of the defaced product ? Drop off any inventory ? Fulfill store requests ? Clean or place fixtures PROCESSING CREDITS Stores will receive a Credit Receipt (shown below) for EACH season of goods in which a credit will be received. For example, a store that has seasonal cards for Valentines, Halloween and Holiday as well as Holiday Gift Bags would receive four (4) different Credit Receipts, one for each season of cards and one for the Holiday Gift Bags.

SMs will need to process a separate Inventory Adjustment in Mi9 for EACH corresponding Credit Receipt: ? Select "Papyrus/American Greetings Seasonal Cards/Bags" from the

Reason dropdown ? The Document No (found on the Credit Receipt) provided from the

rep. should be entered into the Notes field of the applicable Mi9 Adjustment ? The individual Credit Receipts should also be scanned into the "Other VMI" folder following the Invoice Archive Scanning Program Guide
