Health Department Confirms 1st COVID-19 Related Death in Harford County

Bel Air, MD ? April 17, 2020 ? The Harford County Health Department has confirmed its first COVID19 related death in Harford County according to a report by the Maryland Department of Health Laboratories Administration.

The death is a 27 year old male with a history of diabetes and asthma and was one of the State's reported "probable deaths" earlier this week.

"We are saddened to hear of this news and our thoughts go out to the family of this young man. In this time of great uncertainty, we worry about all those who have fallen ill and those who we know are vulnerable. Please stay home to protect everyone in Harford County." Said Dr. Russell Moy, Harford County Health Officer.
