Friday 22nd MayThis is the last day of the half term. The weather looks set to be very good so take the time to keep active and have a break from learning at home. After half term I will be back in school even more and so Mrs Parrish and Mrs Watson are going to organise some learning at home for you. Well done for everything you have done so far and lets hope that we will be able to meet up before the end of term.LiteracyToday I would like you do some reflection.Draw a picture of yourself in the middle of a piece of paper – make sure there is room around your picture. Around the picture of yourself I’d like you to draw pictures of things you have done/seen during lockdown. It might be a picture of something you pass regularly on your walks, a game you have played, the people who live at home with you.You can also add photos to your page that show some of the things you have been doing. You can add labels if you need to.This should be something you can keep and add to or you might make another one later. MathsToday I would like you to look back at all the maths work you have done. We sometimes do this in class.Feel proud of all the work you have done and if you need to, make a few corrections or finish something that is not quite done.Talk about the different topics you covered in maths. Which piece of work did you enjoy doing? What did you find difficult.Physical/challengeWith all this fabulous weather I hope you are taking time to be outside as much as you are allowed. Remember to protect yourself from the sun with sun cream and hats.Ask if you can eat your lunch outside and following on from the reflection activities in literacy and maths take some time to think about the outdoor things you have enjoyed with your family.Which has been your favourite thing to do outside? Was it a game? A certain walk or bike ride? If you haven’t already done it, add these things to your literacy page for today. OnlineWeather Forecast a look at the BBC weather forecast for Godalming, like we did in the classroom, and see what the weather is going to be like. Can you remember what the symbols mean, and why weather is so important? Can you spot the temperature, and the chance of rain? ................
