We know all of you have been anxiously awaiting an announcement about the alternative graduation plans. We thank you for your patience while we solidified our plans. We are extremely excited to announce that we have partnered with KHII/KHON2 to televise and livestream the James Campbell High School's Class of 2020 Virtual Graduation Ceremony! Below you will find the broadcast and streaming details for the ceremony:

This is the FIRST TIME any school or Hawai'i television affiliate has partnered to broadcast a virtual graduation ceremony. We are making HISTORY! This time will solely be dedicated to you, our awesome Saber Seniors, and will broadcast commercial free. We are so fortunate to have this opportunity and while it is not what we all originally had planned for, we hope to make it a special and memorable moment for you!

We have a very short timeline to make this ceremony possible. We are asking for your help with getting it all done! Below, you will find a timeline of important documents and their deadlines. We want all our seniors to be included so we can celebrate together, please spread the word to your fellow classmates. If you decide not to participate in the virtual graduation ceremony you will be refunded the full amount of your graduation fee. If you are choosing to opt out of the virtual ceremony, please email Principal Lee, Papa and Mama Husky.

KHON2 Waivers Due In order to participate in the virtual ceremony with KHII/KHON, you are required to submit a signed waiver form. The waiver can be found attached to this email for you to print, sign, and submit electronically using the biy.ly links.

Cap and Gown Photos Due As a substitute for you walking across the stage, we will use a photo of you in your cap and gown for the virtual ceremony. While your name is read, a display featuring your cap & gown photo, first and last names, honors designation (if earned), and symbols of other accomplishments such as CTE completer, AVID, NJROTC, IB, and scholarship recognition will show on the screen. You will need to do this almost immediately after you receive your cap and gown next week so start planning now! Below, you will find the requirements for the photo the submission: 1. Portrait/Vertical image of graduate

(not landscape) - photo will be resized by JCHS 2. Unedited - no text, graphics, filters, stickers, etc. 3. Passport or yearbook style photo, camera pointed directly at graduate (no angles) 4. Background is not distracting or busy (recommend: landscape or wall) 5. Graduates must be wearing the JCHS Cap and Gown (white cap, white gown, black & orange tassel w/'20 pendant) Cap must remain on their head with their tassel place on the LEFT 6. No leis, sunglasses, hand gestures 7. Photo saved with the file name with LastName_FirstName_AcademyInitial (ACM, ABAIB, AHS, APHS, STEAM) For example: Kalama_David_ACM 8. Accepted files: PNG, JPEG, TIFF, RAW, HEIC

A note for graduates eligible for cords and stoles: Unfortunately, we are not able to receive cords and stoles in time to meet our photo deadlines with KHII/KHON.

If you do not submit a cap and gown photo, we will use your senior portrait yearbook photo for the ceremony. If you did not take a yearbook photo, we will use the Class of 2020 logo.

`Ohana Congratulatory Photos (OPTIONAL) If your family would like to submit a congratulatory photo of themselves holding a sign for you to be shown at the ending of the virtual ceremony, please use the link to your right. Photos must be appropriate.

We realize that the turn around times are short, however, we must adhere to these deadlines in order to make the virtual ceremony happen. We promise you something you have never seen before and we are SO EXCITED to make this happen for you.
