JOB SUMMARY:

The Business Development Associate identifies and helps to develop strategic relationships with partners or potential customers. Assists in the development of a strong pipeline of new customers and projects in accounts through direct or indirect customer contact and prospecting. Works with the Vice President of Business Development to implement business development initiatives to strengthen the company’s pipeline.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participate in execution of sales plans and strategies in order to meet sales expectations and goals

• Follow approved marketing plans and develop own marketing strategies. Proactively follow-up on leads for new accounts while growing, servicing and maintaining existing accounts

• Prepare proposals for clients and prospects

• Ensure that each client is satisfied with Logic Staffing’s services

• Maintain a prospect database (CRM) including contact information and sales activity

• Perform basic accounting functions as they relate to sales contracts and client billing commissions

• Plan, execute and evaluate sales promotions

• Develop sales leads and generate appointments adhering to sales guidelines and quotas

• Performs all other duties as assigned

EDUCATION:

• College degree or 4 years of equivalent business experience preferred

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of two years of related experience in a similar environment

• Previous appointment setting or phone experience

• History of professional success

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Extremely organized

• Attention to detail – both verbal and written

• Sense of urgency and a self-starter

• Goal oriented

• Ability to effectively cold call and set appointments

• Great interpersonal and rapport-building skills

• Exceptional phone skills

• Sense of humor and ability to work with a wide variety of personalities and teams

• Intermediate skills on all Microsoft Office Software – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher

• Professional demeanor

• Creative Thinker
