One Life at a Time!

Children's Behavioral Health Services

Offers specialized outpatient mental health counseling, targeted case management, and psychiatric services for children and adolescents, ages 5-18. We also offer two summer learning programs for children with behavioral problems as well as an after-school group for children with behavior issues and a social skills group for children on the autism spectrum. We believe that successful treatment occurs when there is a strong alliance between the therapist and the child and family.

Healthy Families

Offers expectant parents or families with newborns parenting education and support through voluntary participation in fun and personalized home visits. Services focus on child development, discipline, safety, goal-setting and linkages to other community resources.

W ho We Are

Founded in 1964, Helping People Succeed has been in the business of helping others for over 55 years. It began as a community grass-roots effort of parents who wanted their sons and daughters with intellectual disabilities to do more than just stay home.

The community quickly recognized the need for services for adults with disabilities. Helping People Succeed fulfilled that need.

The staff provided these individuals with coaching and training for employment opportunities and also empowered them to be a part of the community ? not isolated.

As the need in the community expanded, so did the services of Helping People Succeed. We now serve infants, toddlers, students and adults. Our services range from helping those with the most significant disabilities to assisting parents by providing them with the much-needed resources it takes to raise a child.

Capital Campaign Building Futures, Changing Lives

This is a story about a building... but so much more than walls and a roof.

It's a story about people and the futures that are built every day through the

mission of Helping People Succeed.

Our Mission

Helping People Succeed transforms lives by realizing potential, creating hope and building futures through education, counseling, training and employment.

Building Futures in our own Building!

A stable home where people are nurtured and dreams can flourish is what Helping People Succeed strives to provide for all of the individuals we serve. Now we need that stable home ourselves!

Our location in Jensen Beach is ideal.

? Centrally located for clients in both Martin and St. Lucie counties.

? Room to house all of our programs and care for our participants with dignity and respect.

? The capacity to dream again, to say "what if," and then pursue new and better ways to serve.

How can we build a secure future for the families we serve? By purchasing the building and assuring our participants that we're here for them today and we'll be here for them tomorrow.

A permanent home makes good business sense.

? Mortgage-free. ? Funds going to programs, not rent. ? Room to grow our own services and welcome

our community partners.
