center-71691500Live Broadcast AgendaApril 15, 2020[Welcome Special Guest: Janice Watson, Employee Appreciation Gift Fund]Jay:All aides/PSPs need to come down for their 2nd temperature check daily. If your resident needs you and cannot step away, please call the Residential Health Services nurse to have their temperature take or you can hit your pendant. This is a requirement to have their 2nd temperature taken each day. This is another way of being proactive in the community and keeping all safe.We also suggest aides to monitor temperatures at home as well. If you have a thermometer at home please take your temperature to make sure you are within normal limits.[Demonstration on wearing a mask properly]. Pinch metal portion of the mask, this part has to be on the top bridge of the nose. The mask must cover your nose and mouth all the time. It is most effective during this time.Even when talking with someone, masks need to be worn at all times. Please refer to the handout that was distributed to your home. You can wash your mask as well in your kitchen sink with mild detergent and warm water. A good time to do so may be at nighttime before bed.We are also working on providing new masks to Residents. We will roll out the program soon in order to provide a new mask often. We’ve had residents request trips to Walgreens. We will go to Walgreens the 2nd and 4th Fridays of the months. On these Fridays, we will not go to Publix.Beginning on Monday, April 20th, we will move the start time of the movies from 2:30pm to 2:45pm. This will help with the schedule of the Health Care Broadcast.Lunch deliveries are from 12:30pm-1:15pm. Please allow time for the Culinary team to deliver lunches. If you do not receive your order by 1:15pm please call the Concierge Desk to follow up.Power Outages went longer than 11am. After today, everything has been cleared and we will verify. The Construction team poured concrete on the 19th hole today. Looking to check on the progress today.Landscaping going in on the southside of campus.Birthday shoutouts! We ask that aides are open and honest with us if you are experiencing or share a household with someone that may have COVID-19 symptoms. We are closely following the CDC guidelines and the FL Department of Health for guidance. If you are exposed to someone that tested positive for COVID-19, it does not mean that you are not able to work anymore if you are not displaying symptoms. We want to know and will have an interview to see necessary steps to take. It is for everyone’s safety and not to lose track of where we are.[Reading of poem from Myra Marsh]We will have another housekeeping update on Friday. We ask for your cooperation on this.
